That's rough stuff, Brother.

I was just thinking about this last night.

Seems not long ago I was young. My parents and all their siblings were alive.

Now I am the oldster...and the entire generation of my parents is gone. Soon, the generation after mine will take over as the oldsters. Heck, some of them already have grey hair!

It is the natural way of things. The only alternative is for all of us to die at once...and that's not a good option.

I think seeing all this death around us will do one of two things. It will either make us realize life is short so we get busy living, or it will drive us into a hole of despair.

Let's all work to choose the former, rather than the latter.

Blessings,

Tim

Sorry for your losses. Have had the same the past year, three cousins and a high school friend from covid. And several others from other illnesses.
As we get older, we see more friends and relatives pass, until we don’t.
Yes it is sad.
