I've liked this movie ever since I saw it at the theater in '87.
Bought on Vudu and just finished watching it. Now that I bought it it will be on TV. Some of that Murphy's Law stuff don't you know.

Yes, it has that left wing nut Nolte in it but Powers Booth and Rip Torn, plus a lot of great character actors make it enjoyable for me.
The last scene sorta pays homage to The Wild Bunch.

Didn't know Nolte was a commie. Guess the best approach is just to assume the entire flock in Hollyweird are commies.

Just now a guess? Watching Tombstone at the moment, no idea of the actors political affiliation. Most, as I, think it was a pretty good movie regardless.

Mulholland Falls is my favorite Nolte move - wonderfully directed.
