It's not like either one is a gourmet experience, but I'll have a big yak about 1/3 of the time and a slopper 2/3 of the time. The last year or so, burger sling can't seem to find any help, so they're closed more than open, especially if I happen to be looking for fast food.
If I happen to be near an In and Out, the other 2 get nada.

OGB: Heres what I want you to hear - I no longer (and have not for many years now!) any of the freezer burnt pre-digested food that mickdiees sells - as far as I am concerned they are WAY, WAY WAY over-priced CRAP!
As far as burger-king goes they are not even a shadow of their former selves - I would ONLY eat there in an absolute emergency - and I haven't had one of thos in two decades now.
Spend a dollar more and get a good sit-down meal from a restaurant.
When I am travelling I plan ahead and bring quality snacks, fruits and sandwich makins.
NO mickidiees for me, forever - and burger-king may also have seen the last of me.
Popeyes Chicken is about the only thing I buy when vehicle touring and need food in between stops.

My first experience with either was with a Whopper. I was always the last kid on the school bus to get dropped off, and the lady bus driver felt sorry for me, so she promised that on the last day of school, she would treat me to a Burger King Whopper. I loved it. Never had one quite as good since, but they are usually pretty good. The Big Mac is just okay.

Went to HS in SW ohio. Still have family there but rarely go back. Older sister was a waitress at frisch’s in Milford for a lot of years. I bused tables for awhile there too.

There's nothing "big" about the Big Mac any more.
I bought one a year ago, and it seemed to be half the size of the ones I remember from my college days in the 1970's.
As my kid would say... Whomper. Pretty much the only fast food item I will still eat on rare occasion. Fast food seems to have taken a nose dive in quality over the last 5-10 years (or maybe my tastes have changed). Especially McDonald's, last time I ate there I almost threw up an hour later.
Double Whopper, no "cheese". No contest either.
You could get a Double Quarter Pounder stripped down and rebuilt like a Big Mac back in the day. Way better than a Big Mac.
It would probably still lose to a Double Whopper from back then, but a legit challenger.

I only eat at one BK, and I prefer the Whopper over the big mac. Never ate at one, but In and Out Burger applied for a construction permit. But seeing the responses I think I need to go to Wendys and get a Baconator.
