Congratulation. We need more people like you.
Your no fun at all now that your sober
A year well spent! Congratulations!
I'll take up the slack.......
Good for you. I'm at five months but Biden is testing my will power.
Good for you sir. Wish you well.
I have a social drink from time to time, but haven't been drunk in a couple of decades.
Proud of you OGB! Well Done

Congrats to you. 1 day at a time
You picked a helluva time to try it! Good on you!!!!
And here I thought I was doing a big thing going without alcohol during the week. Great job.
Thanks all.
Not anti drinking and will never mount a soapbox about it.
I like drinking.
I simply don't possess an off switch. 12 pack a night, Monday through Thursday then really getting after it on the weekend was not sustainable. Didn't exactly make the bride happy either.
Simply decided that's not who I wanted to be anymore.
There are definite health benefits and I'm too young to spiral the toilet bowl.
It's not an easy thing to do, just don't ever think you can have 1 now and then. It doesn't work. Btdt. Best of luck.
Amazeballs!!!
Oh yeah, I know about the non-functioning off switch too.

Congratulations!!! That is an accomplishment to be honestly proud of!
Drinking to excess was never one of my vices, but huge respect to those who fight that battle and come out on top. Attaboy!
Congratulations, OGB.
The first year is the hardest. I’ve got 27 years. Don’t miss it a bit. Besides I figure I’ve saved $70,000 so far.
Quite the accomplishment!
Stick with it.
That's a huge milestone, God bless you on your way forward. I quit drinking in 2010, but started back smoking recently after having been quit for 2 years

That's good! Milage markers count, mostly.
I've lost track of the my alcohol no-go.4,5 years ago? It ain't important anymore.
I guess that's good, also?
Or maybe just my memory gone to hell....
Well done.

Same.
]My few personal good friends are still friends, even if they imbibe, while I don't . Amazing how many have fallen by the wayside, when alcohol isn't the common factor.
I still have to put up with my wife's Democrat friends tho.
Could drive a man back to drink....
Congratulations - this is not a single success but 365 days of success.
I volunteered in a biblical-based 12-step program for 5 years and have several friends/family that are recovering addicts and I have some that are in constant denial. You will never be immune from the risk of relapse. One of my dearest friends had been sober for 15 years - then a major crisis occurred in his life. He fell off of the wagon; fortunately, he quickly took steps to recover and has remained sober.
Be strong. Continue your success. Be humble.
