The University of Denver and Minnesota State play tonight for all the marbles.
Being a Denver native and season ticket holder with seats on the glass, I'm rooting for Denver.

Watched the Michigan Game didn't the second.. Was surprise to see that M State beat M the next day on the news..

University of Denver wins 5-1. It is their 9th National Championship. Minnesota State played in their first championship game.
DU was behind 0-1 after two periods. Minnesota State is a heck of a team and was keeping the initiative and outshooting Denver by a large margin. Denver hung on and scored twice early in the third. After that, MSU lost any momentum and at this level it proved decisive.
In a tournament where one loss and you're out, I congratulate DU.
Minnesota State has a great coach and they aren't a one hit wonder. In a best of 3, 5, or 7 they are clearly more talented. They'll be a force to reckon with for quite a while.
