A lot of people don't seem to understand that the individual vote for POTUS doesn't have much influence in the outcome of an election except in a few states with a large number of Electoral College votes. 48 states give all of their Electoral Votes to the candidate with the most popular votes, so 6 million people in California who voted for Trump counted for 0 Electoral College votes, all 55 going to JRB, Jr. Only Maine and Nebraska allocate their Electoral College votes. Nebraska gave 4 of its 5 EC votes to Trump, with the 2nd Congressional District's EC vote going to JRB, Jr. Despite being the most liberal leaning part of Nebraska, the Republican candidate of the House of Representative won and beat the same liberal Democratic candidate for the second time. The trend in Nebraska is that the rural people voted for DJT and the urban people voted for JRB, Jr. Nebraska's 2nd District is awash with undocumented aliens who seem to be working in construction, landscaping, and meat packing.
