Paid $4.89 a gallon.. went up 20 cents today.. most stations are over $5 a gallon, some as high as $5.50 for regular...

As I tell folks even liberals hate paying high gas prices. They can’t blame DJT either. I know a fella nice guy, he voted for Biden this go around said the usual bs trump was to divisive etc. so he couldn’t vote for him this time. I remind him about gas here in Alaska hitting $5.00 bucks a gallon. Under DJT gas in Alaska was around 2.34-2.39. I suspect gas will be over 5.20 a gallon by Memorial Day. We as a country was pumping so much oil under DJT the Saudi’s were selling their oil for $10 bucks a barrel.

Fuel has gone up drastically here, too! We should see $5 or more /gallon by end of month!

They were predicting $5.00/gal by Memorial Day,I paid $4.69 over the weekend.

There's alot of chatter about our state gov.cutting the taxes on gas,but they are waiting till June/July to do so.

I paid $4.99 for RET gas yesterday! Reg is $4.25 now was $4.39

It's was $4.29 here yesterday. I knew this was coming when they stole the election, but I'll have to say it's a shock when I'm fueling up.

$4.09 locally last night, and that was at a cheaper gas location.

Only plus of all this is that gas prices finally made it pay to put my 280,000 mile Corolla back on the road. Keeps the miles off of the pickup and gets twice the mileage doing it.

I paid $4.19 for regular unleaded yesterday sure is getting expensive to cut grass, filling up the four wheelers and boat motor. I might have to find a part time job to enjoy my hobbies.

Diesel was $5.69 at Fred Meyer in Beaverton yesterday. Had a 40 cent per gallon discount. Still I have a 35 gallon tank to fill. You'd think they'd give you free lube or something.

These communist bastards are just getting started. Wait until you are taxed at 80 or 90%. Our tax burden increases every minute as more illegals pour across the border. Oh yea, don’t forget the money pit of Ukraine. Our ancestors are shaking their heads, wondering what it will take for us to take action.

We have a small advantage in this part of the country in that we're higher in elevation and can get 85 octane gas. When you get above about 2000', you don't need 87. That keeps the price slightly down.

Gas is cheaper at my yacht club than at the pumps here in Connecticut. We will pay dearly when we get another delivery.

My wife was reading something this morning predicting $10 diesel. That will destroy the trucking industry and make me take my old minivan elk hunting.

When Trump left office I was paying $2.60/gallon up from $2.40 a month or two earlier. At the same station this past friday it was $5.19. "Lets Go Brandon". The libs I work with get real quiet when the discussion moves to gas prices. Surely must be better than mean tweets though? And housing .. and food. I remind 'em that those stimulus checks and COVID payments were a payday advance, not a gift, and now they have to pay 'em back through inflation. Paid $4.95 this morning for the boat and I can climb a tree and see 20% of the nations petrochemical production.

Was just sent a clip from youtube of a couple that owned a logging company. He'd been logging since he was 11, had been in business on his own for 37 years, and they were hanging it up due to fuel prices.

Said when he started, his rule of thumb was 25% went to fuel, 25% went to the driver, and the other 50% went to the truck payment, maintenance, insurance and his living.

Said now he is at 70% for the fuel, driver getting 30%. Leaving nothing for putting back in the business or to make his living.

Result, he's shutting down his operation and retiring.

There is a risk of diesel outages at any price in parts of the East coast. The trucks that deliver gas use diesel . We try to keep both tanks full.

Over the weekend we went to a little country store closest to us to fill up my wife's Rave. It cost just over 46.00. There was a Biden "I did that" sticker on the pump and the glass on the pump had been broken.

My wife went in to pay and saw a written list of gas purchases (I guess the ability to read the pump from inside was lost). She looked at the long list and we were the only purchase above 20.00.

We made a donation to the local food bank this weekend too. The people that have been living pay check to pay check are in a bad way. I'm expecting more smashed gas pumps. Do what you can for others and watch your backs while going about your business.

All in all, we're doing pretty good when compared to most the world on fuel prices..

Gas was literally down to a low of 1.30 to 1.50 a gallon around here at times when President Trump was in office.
It was around 2.00 a gallon here when the election fraud coup happened.

My buddy has an ocean boat 140 gallon tank. Its cheaper for him to go out on a halibut charter than it is to fuel that boat up. He said right now gas prices 4.89 $700 plus that not counting fueling up his truck a diesel. I'm going to have to use my wife economizer to go fishing down in Kenai this year it gets about 30mpg. I want to see my friends face (voted for Biden)when he has to gas up in Glennallen that place is notorious for having these highest gas prices on the road system.

I went over to the bulk fuel place the other day. They have a central computer stand (?) where you scan your credit card and pick the pump, by number, that you want to use. I was getting farm diesel, the red kind. Every 20 gallons it would shut off, and I would have to go scan the card again. Every trip, you got a receipt for 20 gallons. Gas has taken 2 massive jumps in the last 2 weeks here. First was 30 cents and today it jumped another 20. We're now at around $4.60/gal, or more than double what it was 2 years ago.

Oregon guys, you got a ways to go before you get pissed at fuel prices...just south of the state line in Siskiyou County, today 87 grade is 6.29 at Chevron and Shell, diesel is 6.39. If you don't mind waiting in line they are selling gas on the Rez for 5.39.

Talked to a mechanic friend this evening.

Gas just topped $4 a gallon around here and already they’re replacing drilled gas tanks ~$300 for a replacement IF ya can get it, $500 labor.

And it can happen all over again when you get it back.
