I cook a little, do the outside BBQing, Wifey loves to cook, does 99% of the inside stuff. I do dishes.

My boy cooks at his house, his wife ain’t no great shakes at cooking.
I do it all.

Pretty good cook, too. wink
Both cook. Wife is way better at making the awesome foods that have more than 4 ingredients.

I’m the grill king, Souse Chef, and dishes engineering supervisor.

Mostly me when it comes to cooking although the wife has a few things that she makes very well. Now baking is another thing as she is terrible. Between not following recipes precisely and being easily distracted you never know what you’ll end up with.
If you want something here, fix it your damn self

Just had some Walmart canned chili and a pinched up hamburger bun
My wife cooks for our family. She enjoys it and sees it as blessing/loving her family.

It may be an unpopular arrangement these days with a lot of folks. But that’s the South we grew up in. We don’t feel the need to change it.
Me. I'm single.
I grew up with a mom that is a good cook and I wanted to learn, so I cook the most at my house. My wife has learned how to cook several mainstays, so it all works out. We eat a lot of basic meat+vegetable+starch meals. That’s how I grew up. Lots of salads too. Tonight is a big plate of chicken I just grilled, paired with salad. Out daughters eat that way too (mostly), and they are healthy and slim for it. But we’ve got to have some fried chicken or some tacos sometimes…..
Both of us. We're both good cooks, so it really doesn't matter. I do most of the meat cooking, she does most of the vegetable matter.
RB
I love to cook, hate dishes though. We have a good arrangement at our house that way. Dad cooks and dishes get done by the eaters. Wife can and will cook at the drop of a hat if need be but let's me do it since I like it. Plus side is I get whatever I want for every meal. She cooks as well as me and on nights I can't cook will often make what I want as good or better than I do. I figure there's no way to lose in an arrangement like that.
If I wanted to cook, do laundry, and clean the house why the fûck would I have got married?
Me here.....just had left over pasta from Friday......

I do make my own sauce though

red wine is the ticket
My wife. Of course. I grill outside and will do eggs and pancakes for breakfast every full moon or so.
If’n I wanna eat, I gotta cook it.
I'm not above doing laundry or cleaning. I do each about once a month just to prove it. I've even folded laundry on occasion. I don't expect her to mow the lawn or do much for chores either as far as that goes. Probably why when I want some lovin she doesn't tell me to do it myself. It's a pretty fair trade off as far as I'm concerned.
We are each on our own for breakfast and lunch. For dinner I make a large green salad, wife makes the main course. However, I do make the large pots of chili, chicken roma and spaghetti which we freeze in dinner portion sizes and then microwave. My wife keeps me well stocked with wonderful chocolate chip cookies
About a 50/50 here, she does it during the week, I do it on the weekends and any vacation time at the cabin. She does fix my lunch every morning before I go into work.

LIKE
I do the cooking and the wife does the dishes . I’m retired and really enjoy cooking.
I do almost all of it. wife makes some sides and desserts.

Funny thing is, my kid went to Cordon Bleu, is now a chef at MGM Las Vegas and doesn't cook at home.
70/30 in my favor.
Wife .. sometimes my mother if I got the wife helping me. This would just be in the summer during hay season and of the times that they're just ain't time for nothing. Go go go
I cook the good stuff, she makes breakfast and simple stuff.
The wife and I were at about 50/50. Since I retired and she hasn’t yet, I do most of it. She’s a pretty good cook though.
I do mostly, and can't stand a dirty kitchen, {imagine that from seeing my reloading room) clean as I go...

I run the smoker a lot, chicken, pork butts and ribs, grill pork chops and a lot of venison. I love doing venison fattys on the Primo. A lot of venison burgers mixed with some fat hamburger 80/20. Just made a huge pot of killer gumbo, we are at Perdido Key, hit the Bay Market and picked up a bunch of Royal Reds, oysters and scallops, fresh salad and cold beer, is the grand daughter's senior trip before she heads off to college. Bad wind and rain but who can force the weather, we have eaten good at least.
I work week on week off. I also cook week on week off. Works well for us.
I do the grilling and cook breakfast when we have a chance to enjoy it as a family. Wife does the rest.

This is the situation in my house. I enjoy cooking and will probably keep at it when the wife finally retires.
My wife cooks, and bakes, sews, does most everything great. Me? so, so
Wife is great cook and does almost all of it. I do the grilling out doors.
Generally speaking, I cook and she bakes. It works out quite well.
We both cook, she does the vast majority.

Tonight she came home to beer can chicken in the oven, and garlic potatoes. She mashed them, I stirred th e gravy while she thickened it.

She is a darn good cook.

I really enjoy learning and trying "Either this will be good, or we are eating
Burger King" type things.
Breakfast and lunch I’m on my own except for the occasional sandwich. She cooks for the kids all the time. Dinner, we share it. She’s a good cook and has her specialties. I’m a good cook and like to experiment, so the creative stuff falls on me.

We will often plan tomorrow’s dinner after today’s, or early next day, so we’re never scrambling or ordering fast food at the last minute. If we eat out, we usually plan it a day or two ahead.
Both of us.
She cooks the healthy sh itt.
I cook the sh itt that tastes good.
I cook, there is not anyone that can cook any better then me but my mom. But she passed last year now I can claim to be.
I do the BBQing, salads and grilled veggies/pasta. That way I get my steaks medium raw, not burnt into leather. She does the baking.
Well, seein as how I'm here by myself (for a little while longer), I do the cooking...... with "cooking" meaning putting a frozen pizza in the oven, or heating up a can of soup. I rarely really cook anything other than bacon and eggs. I don't like cooking, and I HATE the cleanup.
My wife does all the cooking in the house. I do the outside frying and smoking, she does most of the grilling.
I cook more than the wife, but I DO NOT do dishes. She does the sweets if we have any which is very rare. I grilled pork steaks and made gumbo on Sunday for our lunch/supper for the first two nights this week. Will be frying turkey breast Wednesday night. She is making something with taco meat Thursday night. Do f know yet what Friday will bring. We plan the weeks meals on the weekend prior.
I do all the cooking, baking etc. Wife does not like it and I do it better....she has a very stressful job and I'm retired and take the time to cook good food.
My wife does nearly 100% and would not have it any other way. When the smoker is needed I set it up, but she operates it. Same for the grill.

Once in a great while when we are camping I will grill the food, but that is typically when she is occupied with something else.
I do all the cooking, by choice and practicality.

During the week I get home from work earlier than she does- so I have dinner ready for her and the kids by the time she’s home with the kids. However on the weekend, it’s a little different… I cook because I like my food newer than burnt and food poisoning.

While in NOLA, we took a cooking course, and the instructor stated that cooking is preparing food, and therefore peeling a banana is “cooking”. She stands by that.
My wife will get by with a bowl of cereal for dinner because she doesn't like to cook.

So if I want anything to eat, I'm on my own.
I'd like to do more. Do most on the weekend, a bit during the week. Wife does a lot during the week, we usually have a taco night and an Italian night with squash noodles or something similar.
I do the cooking. I live with 17 and 20 year old boys and my girlfriend. I don't want to eat anything they could possibly produce on the stove.
Evenly split I reckon for inside cooking, dictated by who happens to get around to it. Both pretty good at it.

I do all the outside grilling and smoking.

Same here.
I cook, she cleans.

Life would be pure hell for both of us if it was the other way around……!
About 50/50 here though she does 90% of the grilling.
I do 90% of the cooking she does all the baking and dessert making ,I eat what I want that way...
Hanco: Thank goodness the VarmintWife is such a wonderful traditional "homestyle" cook - and she LOVES to do it.
Her "pot roast dinners" always come out perfect - and we eat "leftovers" for several days afterwards.
The VarmintWifes "rhubarb/custard" pies are known throughout the county and always requested.
She also does a wonderful job on carrot cake, pineapple upside down cake and apple pie.
I can ONLY cook two things I am proud of = old fashioned beef stew (my mother taught me the secrets to this!) and venison "sheepherder style".
Like the Jewish American Princesses another thing I am good at making is "reservations"!
Hold into the wind

My wife does most of the cooking but I do some, I would say 80/20
I do most of it when I am home. My wife is a decent cook though

About 70% me. Wife can cook pretty good but she still works.

Somebody's got to work to pay the inflated prices nowadays.
