Charles, last year (2021) there were a total of 20726 deaths related to firearms if you count murders accidents and homicides that were ruled justifiable.

Gun deaths per Trace

also in 2021 ,31720 people lost their lives in automobile accidents.

Traffic related fatalities

It would seem to me, if the democrat party were truly interested in saving lives they'd pursue the more egregious
source of fatality. But time after time its about stopping private citizens from owning firearms.

Even more curious is state after state legalizing weed which is a signifcant contributor to automobile accidents.

While we're at it, if you look at where more gun violence occurs, there seems to be a fairly consistent pattern.
Can you tell what most of these cities have in common?

Democratically controlled urban areas
