Gatorade, maybe a coke or 2 between now and bedtime. After being borderline HBP, I decided to lay off the alcohol for a while and see if it comes down. Havent touched a drop in a week now. I was drinking 2 to 4 shots a day for the last damn decade or so. Stopping isn't an issue for me, its just a pattern I let myself fall into of drinking a few shots of the hard stuff every day to unwind and relax. LOL so far this week Ive cleaned up a vehicle, mowed the yard twice, read 6 magazines from cover to cover, put away all my camo gear from turkey season, and who knows what else! LOL And all of this is after working outside 6 to 8 hours a day every day! All this extra energy is gonna kill this old man!

yep, agree on the corruption! I have another bottle of BT, and an Eagle Rare that’s about 3/4 full, and lots of other decent pours, but Stagg Jr is by far my favorite. So high proof, yet sooo smoooooooth. Still hoping for anything Van Winkle and E H Taylor single barrel or four grain. 😵‍💫

The only bottle of 4RSB that I ever bought was a TOTAL disappointment. And I'm a HUGE 4R fan. But it was overwhelmingly alcohol forward on nose and taste. Like.........rubbing alcohol, forward. I was really disappointed, as I could have dropped $10 less for SB or $20 less for yellow label and gotten a MUCH more enjoyable pour.

Found a can of cub soda that when opened it fizzed nicely. Plastic lime juice, vodka.

I've used the plastic lime with decent results, but Club Soda needs to be fresh & this stuff didn't get it.

Back to the red Gator Aide & it still works. Know it has ingredients I don't need. Still would like to find a quick, clean & refreshing, easy mixer for vodka without so many additives.

The usual: dark rum and Goslings sugar-free ginger beer.

For a beginner and a known tightazz, three shots of Gordons gin, a half cap (from a 750ml bottle) of dry vermouth shaken with ice and poured into a frozen martini glass or water glass... or on ice in same, I go either way.
