And voted for Republican candidate in local TX race.

Says he can no longer support the Democrat Party. Party of "division and hate".

Elon Musk leaning toward DeSantis in 2024

By Ivan Pentchoukov June 15, 2022

Elon Musk on June 15 said he is leaning toward voting for Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis for president in the 2024 election and predicted that a “red wave” is coming in 2022.

In response to a question from a popular Tesla fan account on Twitter, Musk said it remains to be determined whether he will vote for a Republican for president. When asked who he is leaning toward, Musk replied, “DeSantis.”

DeSantis, a Republican, has not said he will run for president in 2024. Former President Donald Trump is widely expected to run again.

The brief exchange was part of a conversation on Twitter that Musk started by revealing that he had cast the first vote for a Republican in his life in the special election in the 34th Congressional District in Texas. Musk voted for Mayra Flores, who won the election in the heavily-Hispanic district which has voted for Democrats for decades.

“I voted for Mayra Flores – first time I ever voted Republican,” Musk said. “Massive red wave in 2022.”

With more than 95 percent of the votes counted at 11:09 p.m. ET on June 14, Flores received 51 percent of the vote in the special election, according to Decision Desk HQ. Democrat rival Dan Sanchez received 43.3 percent of the vote.

Flores will serve the remainder of the term in the seat vacated by former Rep. Filemon Vela (D-Texas), who resigned this spring to work for Akin Gump, a Washington law and lobbying firm.

“I’m forever grateful,” Flores said in a victory speech on June 14. “For 100 years we have been taken for granted.”

Republicans at the national level have committed money and effort to the Flores race, believing that South Texas Latinos share conservatives’ concerns about border security and the economy.

The opportunity to break the South Texas blue barrier has emboldened Republicans, who aim to flip the region red and regain control of the U.S. House of Representatives.

Musk first revealed that he is planning to vote Republican in a Twitter post last month.

“In the past I voted Democrat, because they were (mostly) the kindness party,” Musk wrote on May 18. “But they have become the party of division & hate, so I can no longer support them and will vote Republican.”

Musk is in the process of acquiring Twitter and taking the company private.

The billionaire further revealed that he supported Democrat Andrew Yang for president in the 2020 election.

“I supported Yang last time, but DeSantis has a better chance of winning,” Musk wrote in a Twitter post.

I agree with him. Red wave is coming at the ballot box.

Whether it'll reach the election results count is another thing entirely.

Exactly. Turning twitter is YUGE.
We are just going to have to make the red tsunami so massive that there will be no way they can jigger the results!
DeSantis has already said he will not run if Trump is running. Trump is running !
As long as electronic ballot counting, mail-in ballots are allowed, and, I.D. verification and vote in person ain't required, we're not going to have the government we voted for. Red Wave? I doubt it!

Have Faith, grasshoppa.
Democrats- ''the kindness party''?

He might be a genius business man/inventor but he sounds like an idiot pertaining to politics. Sounds like he has hit the age of reality now, hopefully he can 'influence' a bunch of mouth-breather millennials. Maybe after seeing obama and biden in office they can connect the dots.

Yes, and that is why Trump is asking everyone to vote. It's also why some on the fire, like Stevie Wander are saying there is no sense in voting. Paid opposition?

I think by Nov there will be a lot less mules wanting their name and pic in the news.

When Durham hits them I wonder who they will say paid them. I figure it's going to pissca lot of Americans off to find out their vote was nullified by a POS named Soros, enen if Sickermore and Gayghost and jell0 dont give a schiett.
Trump will run in 2024, he got fuqked in 2020, they'll really go full blown this time. The Dems will start a nuclear war before they will let Trump be President again.

We didnt get the govt we voted for in 20.

There will be a lot of changes made by 24.

There have already been a lot of changes. We wont be seeing Ds kick R vote count observers kicked out the room or across the room as before.

After the mules testify I expect the two words that will destroy the DNC will come to pass. Those two words are Voter ID.

I'm not sure we will have 2022 elections.

I think the DNCs BLM, Antifa and Bidets open borders and illegal middle east fly ins will be rioting and pillaging to prevent the red wave from hitting.

The Ds may then say they have to stay in office to Save the Democracy.

I'm just wondering when Qs prophecy about the military being required to move forward will occur.
I’m with Elon. DeSantis is the guy. Unlike Trump, he’s politically savvy, and doesn’t let his ego get in the way. He’d be harder to beat than Trump, doesn’t have a whole segment of the party that hates him, and would be more attractive to independents and the few remaining Dems that aren’t total Left-wing crackheads.

If Trump backed him, Katie bar the door!

He’s kicking ass in FL. Has way better hair than Trump too.
If Musk can help us get DeSantis in 2024, I'll buy a fugking Tesla.
It’s going to be one hell of a show .
No telling what will be the breaking news .

Let's dissect that

[*] DeSantis is the guy. - Yes!
[*]Unlike Trump, he’s politically savvy - Versus Politically dumb, as Trump. Bombing Syria, the only defender of Christians in that middle east cesspool is not the best decision to make.
[*]and doesn’t let his ego get in the way - DeSantis' kids won't have any business in the White House, unlike Ivanka.
[*]He’d be harder to beat than Trump - History matters.
[*]would be more attractive to independents and the few remaining Dems that aren’t total Left-wing crackheads - Even Ivanka would vote for DS.

You nailed it, Pappy!
DeSantis had a great response. He said he appreciated the African American support.

Them Afros did not appreciate that.
I've been for DeSantis for the past year.

Trump was the best president in my lifetime, but he is carrying too many negatives. He might win but it is risky, especially when the Dems have so many negatives that any viable non-Democrat candidate should win easily.

IMO Trump is too old. He is so polarizing that there are zero undecided voters when it comes to Trump. There are no voters to win over.

Wish he would back DeSantis. And then I hope DeSantis would have the wisdom and courage to govern the way he has so far. In my history of elected officials, that last is unlikely.
I’m 100% pulling for Trump. I want to get this thing kicked off and Trump being elected for the THIRD time is exactly what’s needed for the left to lose its collective sh.it.

I’d like to see Trump choose DeSantis for VP and then 4 years later DeSantis can get his 8 years as president. 👍….maybe with Don Jr. as his VP. Keeping a Trump in government for the next 50 years as a middle finger to the liberal ass wipes.

Agreed
I still cant believe that any of you actually believe Trump would be "allowed" to win in 2024!!! As others have said the Dems would literally start a nuclear war to prevent that! More likely however would be convincing some commie DA or Attorney General...probably that sheboon in NY, to file major criminal charges bogus or not, against him just in time for election season. The sham Jan 6th commission is just a warmup!! The dems would also upgrade their election theft machine using the successes of the 2020 theft as a blueprint. The never Trump RINOs like Miss Lyndsay, Mitch the turtle etc would turn a blind eye to this once again.

I firmly supported Trump every time he was on the ballot and believe he was the best President in recent history, BUT am also a realist who believes he couldnt overcome the cheating, the propaganda arm of the Democratic party aka the media, RINOS etc, etc to win a presidential election!

Do you think they’re going to allow us DeSantis?

If Trump runs I'll vote for him, as others have said he was the best President of my lifetime. If he does run then he can't/shouldn't pick DeSantis as his running mate. A president and vice-president can't be from the same state and Trump is a Florida resident now. Plus, vice-president is a chump job and traditionally it's harder for one to move into the presidency than it is for a governor. DeSantis is doing a great job in Florida, leave him there instead of vice-president where he'll languish. Yeah, I know Biden was vice-president and became president but we all know the election was rigged.

To tell the truth I hope Trump doesn't run. He's too old, he should live out his golden years acting as kingmaker while hosting parties at Mar-a-lago & playing with Melania's titties. He also had a habit of picking people who were disloyal to him which he never fixed during his entire presidency and that I don't want to see repeated. I love the guy, but I'd rather he hand off the baton.

He could be VP, for Mr. Don. Then run when Don is finished. DeSantis is a well dude, he may not like being a VP.

That doesn't work, Ace. They could hold Prez and VP by law but it hampers casting electoral votes, a massive disadvantage.

The 12th Amendment to the Constitution says this about casting electoral votes: “The Electors shall meet in their respective states, and vote by ballot for President and Vice-President, one of whom, at least, shall not be an inhabitant of the same state with themselves…”

This means they can't cast votes for both, only one from their state.
DeSantis for 2024, i could live with that.

Let’s say he won, then makes Trump head of the DOJ😂. But as long has they use Dominion voting machines, it’s not happening.
DeSantis is my Governor, he's awesome.

He has a Republican house and senate here in Florida. All good

If he was to be elected POTUS, he will get the same treatment from the rino's that Trump got. They will sandbag him at every turn.

That's good. Someone not mentioned here is Ted Cruz. I'd vote for him, if he runs and Trump doesn't run.

Oh, some lawyer might point his AR at some oncoming looters, or some teenager might effectively fight back against an all out attack. Other than that, there will be no fight from the side of freedom. That ship has sailed.
Something to consider. Voters fatigue and itch for change in the WH after 8 years max. (Reagan/Bush was 12) If you look at the WH history over the last 100+ years, with the exception of the WW II years, the Party in the WH swapped back and forth pretty regularly. Sometime, voters just can't stand success and want something different, good or bad.

My fear is that after 4 more years of Trump, the media will poison the well for DeSantis or any R.

On the other hand, Biden/Harris are doing their damnedest to kill the Democrat Party themselves.

All three statements are true. I might be selfish, but I'd like to keep DeSantis as my governor for a while longer.

Like somebody else pointed out, the media will give Gov. Ron the Trump treatment should he run and constantly try to take him down if elected. Hell, they are at it now. Nice thing is Gov. Ron doesn't care. He's going to do what he thinks is right and damn the personal consequences. You've got love how he isn't afraid to stick it corporate wokeness. A big part of his appeal.

Only if he attempted to drain the swamp. Back to Elon, Musk has a huge manufacturing plant in China, does anyone really believe he will publicly throw his support behind a US president who is not afraid to take on China??

Add to that we need a guy who can be there for eight years to straighten out the schitshow we have now, not four and out the door. Lets face it, at Trump’s age, stuff can happen to one’s health suddenly and without warning. Much less chance of that with a younger guy.

An alternative would be Trump/DeSantis, with Trump bowing out after serving just past the cutoff date, giving DeSantis more than 8 years.

Frankly, I’d be surprised if Trump deferred to the younger guy. DeSantis will probably have to win it, and I think he can. The batch of losers Trump beat out for 2016 weren’t much of a challenge. Ron will be something else again.

Make no mistake, Trump was a great President and accomplished great things against incredible odds. For now, I think he can best serve as a distraction for the Dems before DeSantis swoops in and grabs the ball at the last minute. No doubt in my mind he would be the best choice to help this country.
Doesn't matter if it's Trump. Desantis, or someone else, any of them are just a temporary stop gap measure. This country is way past the point of going down the sheitter. It'll take a total reset one way or the other, to get it back.
Crow Hunter & others,

Do you'all know President Trumps work record? He's known for working 14-16 hours a day, been doing it for decades.

I've read how little some presidents have worked bush/clinton/obama and how Trump worked long hours during his presidency. You don't get a lot done going working short hours, I've read two of his books, >he's a work-a-holic, it's well known. Remember him sitting at his desk while sick with covid?

Elon Mush ain't going to do squat, he sells a product to brainwashed environmental eco-nazi's who want to think they're ''ahead of the curve'' on the next big thing.
Mush the influencer at age 50+ is all the sudden going to become an America first kind of guy, laf.
There's a HUGE REASON why the MSM/SWAMP are losing sleep over President Trump > pretty much everybody here can figure out that reason.

Trump did several things I didn't like, one big one putting his silver-spoon daughter & her husband in the WH.
He was attacked from 360* from the beginning before he ever announced he was officially running for president. He was lied to 24/7/365 by every gov't agency that could be named because ''those type people'' were warned that he doesn't like their type. The mere mention of ''how do these people become millionaires'' during their time in office? We all know they're in there cheating/kick-backs/getting favors etc. but no one thus far has did anything about it. He scared them to death and still has MANY who don't sleep well at night. No one else besides Trump is going to keep them up at night.
over.
It doesn't say much about the genius that he's only now coming to this realization.

Maybe he was so caught up in making money off gov't subsidies that it clouded his judgment.

Oh, well, take the good whenever you can get it.
