It is apparently my turn with the china virus. Got up and felt weird and then all of a sudden my skin felt super sensitive like when you have the flu. My BP went up thirty points, I was so dizzy I couldn't walk far, and the headache is just divine.

Got vitamins and Ivermectin and been keeping my fluid intake up.

I will take a test but it sure does seem like it's my turn.

And unlike the jeopardy host and a few million other pussies, I ain't skeered.

Odd that I work directly with the public this long and never got it. I do wash my hands and avoid being a dirty mfer.
Posted By: Jeffrey Re: Well...somehow... - 06/24/22
I know a lot of people who have been getting it lately. And yet, the media and Fauci-ites are deafly quiet.
Posted By: mjbgalt Re: Well...somehow... - 06/24/22
Test is positive.

Get better soon.

Suck it up, Buttercup

Drink some toilet water to boost your immune system.

I got the china flu on Wednesday. Thought it was allergies on monday and tuesday but ended up with covid. Since Wednesday I have felt great, worked from home the last few days and drank about a pint of bourbon.

Think I will make it through. This is about as mild of a cold as I've had in some time now.
Posted By: mjbgalt Re: Well...somehow... - 06/24/22
Naw this went from "weird, I feel tired" to "holy [bleep] I can't walk straight" in like an hour.

Fuggit. Had flu like this before.

Boat accident, you know.
Posted By: Sportsdad60 Re: Well...somehow... - 06/24/22
Hydroxychloroquine for the win.

Fixed us (wife and I) non-vaxxers up within 24 hrs but we laid low during the "infection" period.
Vowed never to get tested again. It's JUST ANOTHER COLD.
Posted By: mjbgalt Re: Well...somehow... - 06/24/22
Don't even know where to get that one. Vitamin c, ivermectin, multi vitamin, zinc, fluids, Tylenol.

Going around. Like covid.
Posted By: dale06 Re: Well...somehow... - 06/24/22
I’m with you. Tested positive yesterday. My symptoms are similar to a mild cold, and a little fatigue.
Went to my gun range for an hour and just did two miles on treadmill and feel fine.
Good luck to others that have it.
Posted By: mjbgalt Re: Well...somehow... - 06/24/22
Mine is pretty much kicking my ass like a real flu does. 102 fever and aches and pains and dizzy.

I will ride it out and keep on with what we know works.
Posted By: gunzo Re: Well...somehow... - 06/25/22
Keep them lungs aeriated & if it doesn't go down there you should be coming around the bend in a few days.

Good Luck!!
Posted By: mjbgalt Re: Well...somehow... - 06/25/22
I am back from from 102.3 to 101 again. Lots of fluids and ivermectin. Some zinc too
Posted By: Birdwatcher Re: Well...somehow... - 06/25/22
I had it last week, came on quick, vaguely unwell Tuesday evening, Wu Flu Wednesday, sniffles, throat, cough, chest congestion.

Mostly slept through Friday, worst part was not leaving the house for five days. Back to normal now.

Lots of people have been getting this one.

Because there was an FDA recall for toxic substances

The last time I had a flu that kicked my butt I had a lot of coughing. I tried several things to slow it down but I found Benadryl helpful. I think Ivermectin is the key but if it drags on try the Benadryl once ever 12 hours. This was before the covid plandemic but it seemed to turn the corner for me.

That is a positive side effect at 82
Posted By: mjbgalt Re: Well...somehow... - 06/26/22
Been using the horse paste twice a day. It killed the fever asap. Not without risk though...

I really am hungry for a carrot and my weener is 19 inches long.

The negative bein most of the women you know are old.

Like a four year old with a million dollars. No idea what to do with it lol
Posted By: mjbgalt Re: Well...somehow... - 06/28/22
This schit won't let go. I kicked the fever part but I am still exhausted and cold sweaty feeling. Need to get past it fast and get back to paying work.
Posted By: kenjs1 Re: Well...somehow... - 06/28/22
I tested positive but fever was over within first day. Felt same as you -sorta clammy back feeling a few days. Uncharacteristically slept the better part of a few days.
Keep doing all the right things. A little sunshine doesn't hurt either. Keep us posted.
Posted By: mjbgalt Re: Well...somehow... - 06/28/22
Same here. Unwanted napping lol

Been eating and taking Ivermectin and zinc and multivitamins and drinking a ton but disappointed that it didn't let go right away.

The fever was killed in less than a day as soon as the ivermectin started.
Posted By: Scott_Thornley Re: Well...somehow... - 06/28/22
Lingering fatigue was the worst part for me. Verified using an antibody test last year, and highly likely just a few weeks ago( identical symptoms, several ppl in direct contact with tested positive) give it another week til you’re back to “normal”.
Posted By: kenjs1 Re: Well...somehow... - 06/28/22
This is timely. Have a sister who is 65 who called telling me her and hubby have it and thy have no idea how they could have gotten it. She is a retired RN and an anti-vaxer all along. They live in Oregon and I have some Ivermectin for the both of them on the way. They should have it Thursday. He seems to be getting the worst of it. He has a bad cough and they just put him on Plaxovid yesterday and I know almost nothing about that drug. She has Xlear and been taking Zinc and vitamins. I mentioned Budesonide as well and reminded her about breathing exercises. Hope they mend soon. Just buried Dad a few weeks back- unrelated to Covid. Don't want her going anywhere soon.
Posted By: mjbgalt Re: Well...somehow... - 06/28/22
I took another test here at home. Still positive. Ivermectin twice a day and all the zinc and vitamins and fluid are still being taken.

I am far from struggling to stay alive but I damn sure am not snapping out of it fast either
Posted By: bruinruin Re: Well...somehow... - 06/28/22
I felt,....unmotivated, is the best way I can put it, for better than a month after my mild case back in January. Mild peripheral neuropathy lasted for 6-8 months.

Hope you're feeling better soon.

Generally zinc is hard for the body to absorb without a "carrier" such as quercitin, quinine, there are others. Zinc is very important in fighting viruses.
Posted By: mjbgalt Re: Well...somehow... - 06/30/22
Now it's Wifey's turn with the virus. I am about 90 percent better. A little disappointed, I hoped for the 36 hour turnaround you guys described, but I will take the six day timetable and lack of death, as a win lol
Posted By: blindshooter Re: Well...somehow... - 06/30/22
Lack of death = good!
