Descendants of Samurai’s, Ninja like,

Quick cunning and elusive,

Firearms are not an option.

Lady Jane’s prize flower beds have been over taken,

Chipmunks……..mutha [bleep] must go,

The carnage and destruction is getting over the top.

Traps, buckets of water or what?
What about the flower bed is different from previous years?
Awwwww. They’re just a couple of “happy campers” just having some fun. 😊
Not sure,

Other than very dry here the last 2 weeks, And we’ve spent much time watering….

They seem to be digging up the seeds?

Squatters more like it..

Personal boundary’s have been crossed.

The wife loves Wildlife, until they impact her flower beds, then it gets personal.
Bill Murray?
Borrow the neighbor's cat.

Rat traps baited with peanut butter. I had a bad red squirrel problem a couple years ago. Those little fuggers love to chew up wiring. Think I caught 11. Haven't seen one since.
peanut butter on the bait arm of rat traps is a noce combo for chipmunks
PB and a rat trap,

Game on…

Can’t imagine the thoughts going through the cashiers head when he/she rings up a dozen large rat traps,

Must be similar to ringing up Preparation H , Tampons or such….

Oh c’mon, I’m sure I’m not the only one here that’s BTDT.
I like the little suckers but several years ago I declared war on them when they began pulling the gravel out of my patio retaining wall as well as tunneling under the sidewalks.

I use a mix of rat traps, a box trap and CB shorts in the .22.

I don't bait the rat traps because I'm sure to get gray & fox squirrels in them. Just put the rat traps where they're typically running - they're edge animals just like deer. laugh
Put the box trap tight against the house or some sort of edge where they're running (in a flower bed you can likely funnel them into the box with 2x4's or something).

Air Rifle, discriminating target selection, powerfull, cheap to shoot, accurate, and practice to boot.
You need an air rifle for stealth hunting!
A Beeman R7 would be quiet, accurate and effective!
Use a long gutter nail to anchor the traps down or they can disappear along with the somewhat injured rodent.
Rat traps and bird seed works like a charm !

I think that you may be mistaken.. My chipmunks eat chicken wings The hard little end piece), little snakes and the occasional cherry tomato..
You’re the apex predator OP. Lots of good solutions offered.

Pellet rifle

Live traps

Rat traps.
You just need to make friends with them and ask them to stay out of the flowers

I used to throw those peanuts and sunflower seeds when I turkey and deer hunted.

One of them shoved 20+ in his face…. They are great
Fill a 5 gallon pail about 3/4 full of water then pour in a few sunflower seeds (they’ll float). Use a length of 2x4 for a ramp. They’ll fall in trying to get the seeds and drown.
