Gosh, boy howdy…

With all of the 147 lettuce and chicken factories burning down and the Bill Gates turning all the farmland into Graphene mines, the planes full of Girl Scouts being flown into potato chip warehouses…ya think we’d be starving this holiday or eating gruel

My freezers are full at this point.

What’s it like near you?

Note* for the “we aint step foot in a grocery store in 30 years or we only eat possum/deer meat” GFY

Cap has been removed. You’d think as long as you’ve been a member here you’d learn a few things.
My supply of SPAM is solid.

Well, it’s like 5 or 6 bucks and Oregon is the retarded place where you can’t pump your own gas.

I’ll Fugk off now😂
I got whole chickens last night at their competitor (Food Lion) for .79 cents a pound.

Limit 2

Me and the wife rolled in there like Normandy. Me still coming off fentanyl/versed.

We got 4 5lb birds. She put on her medical scrubs and went back in got 2 more. lol

Will do a boston butt and 4 split chickens this weekend.

Man I got to quit typing “their” when I mean There.

No wonder some of the 80 year old Airwolf fans think I’m running R-50 as a sock puppet.
Quite a bit higher than that around here.
Been putting some NY Strips up lately.

I quit buying NY strips around here. I can get them for that, but they chew like they been whooped with a riding crop.
I honestly have no clue what it costs/lb here to the penny. Same with gas. I know - generally what gas is but is it 4.79 or 4.89? I haven't a clue until I roll up to the pump. Doesn't matter - I'm filling up regardless.

Meat - same. I want to smoke some ribs. I'm buying a couple racks - they cost what they cost. I looked it up tho for this post. Spares are 4.69 lb, back is 3.99 lb, Smithfield prime ribs are 4.99 a lb.

Angus boneless English Roast - 4.99 lb
Boneless Ribeye is 18.99 lb
I just opened a jar of Great Value Mayo from the cupboard.

The aluminum seal on the top had deteriorated and the mayo was in the cabinet with no refrigeration... maybe 4-5 months.

I was going to toss it... but decided not.

It will make great a potato salad for a 4th of July liberal picnic I know about...

I will drop off early and anonymous...

Pot Luck table is always an adventure.

The main point of this is: all we ever get is Hillary is going to jail, panic panic panic, the durham report steaks are $30 a lb at costco, planes crashing into Oreo factories, twinkies are gonna become obsolete, hype hype hype, graphene, people turning into magnets, cell phones causing brain tumours, Dr Mercola, Alex Jones, food shortages, THE END IS NEAR day after day. Same shît.
Blue Crabs are $10 each here...

IF YOU CAN FIND THEM...

That is $120 a dozen or about 22-24 ounces of meat. i.e. $80 a pound.

My potato salad is MUCH CHEAPER.
Oscar Mayer wieners? JFC…..
They don’t have Nathan’s or Hebrew Nation “down there”?
Ribeye here is $15ish/pound. Expensive as hell.

Chicken and pork is bargain country. Luckily I love both.
I need to cut collards today.

Glad I saved those ham-hocks from December.

That was Memorial Day sale I think, I still have some left “in here”
I am remembering these were $3.99 a pack during that sale.

These are the ones good enough to eat cold. 👍

It is a nice garden. Dirt doesn’t look very red. Haul dirt in or just an area without much red clay?
20lbs of 99¢lb St. Louis ribs in freezer from April. Couple great buys on seafood as well.

I haven't seen chicken leg quarters for .59 lb. in years around here. Best price is .89 on sale. We picked up 40 pounds at that price a couple weeks ago. 80% hamburger runs 3.99 lb. on sale. We just picked up a bunch of bone in pork chops for 1.89 lb. on sale.
I just got Tillamook ice cream 2 For $7.
Know why them beef sale prices seem so low?

Y'all didn't think they was gonna let alla them dead cows in Kansas go to waste now, didja?

It’s a Nolin series soil. Creek bottom. It’s just very dry right now. The whole bottoms here used to be coaling fields during the 19th century iron industry. We have slave dug hematite pits here on the farm.

This is what it usually looks like.

I know how that is.

Thanksgiving is mfer around here.

Cleveland Jr doesnt like onions in his dressing
Uncle Pam and Aunt David want theirs without celery
Aunt Samantha wants hers without chicken breast meat chopped up in it.
Kyle doesnt want bananas in his banana pudding
Logan doesnt like frosting on his cupcakes. And is “allergic to chocolate”. Have to make plain yellow cake cupcakes for him.
Alexis is allergic to nuts so we can no longer have pecan pie anywhere in the house. “Pecan fumes”
Grampie is a diabetic- he eats anything. Which is dangerous. If he starts cussing, his sugar is high
Landon will eat ALL of the rolls if the turkey is not done yet. He wont wait for main dinner with family.

If I’m not picking it up, I make her send me a pic of it to make sure it looks ok. From April

Jeebus brah,

you work that tickytocky thing like a espert.
Our local Fred Meyer (Kroger) has choice rib eyes steaks $4.77 a lb. I bought 4 good steaks for $24
Best I can do. $1.49/lb for leg quarters. Would have spent more driving to the other two stores in town looking for a better price, if there was one:

[Linked Image from i.postimg.cc]

And I pulled out a roast and some wahoo from the freezer, they'll go on the grill too. Maybe tomorrow evening. That's enough meat, fish, and chiggum for us two for a week.

Didn’t know Sanderson farms reached to Cali.

Good lord, ConAgra again? frown

Grocery Outlet had them. Probably an overproduction or such, as they only get outlet type stuff. Next week could be Foster Farms or Perdue. Pisses me off, like Costco at times, find something I like, go back, all gone!

They had some yogurt that is the BOMB! Pastuerized before culturing and not homogenized full fat stuff. Layer of cream on top. Had to order two cases online the other day as I got hooked. Should be here tomorrow!

Chain store here has pork butt for $1.29. Regularly $2.59. Bought 8 in the past 2 days. One will be on the smoker Monday. Finally got time to butcher/process the 5 deer that were boned out in the freezer since November- made a bunch of breakfast and Italian sausage, so the pork sale worked out well.

Here we have "Esche's", a discount store run by local Mennonites.

When Sam's Club's rotisserie chickens that have not yet been cooked reach their expiry date, they get dumped whole into a wax box with water and flash frozen.

Esche's sells a box of 8 whole fryer chickens for $9.99.

They are Tyson chickens.... Literally labeled as Tyson, and in the box are the Sam's Club tags as such.

We break down and cook 2 or 3 a week. Shredded. Stock. Chicken wings. Sous Vide. Fried. Enchiladas. You name it.

NO ONE in Loveland, Colorado should ever complain about hunger, when they can buy quality protein for less than a buck a pound.

Not sure how it’s changed since the buyout.

To hear folks tell, it was a good company.

Their corporate office / home office was south of here.

Kept the 10 jets at the airport.

They’d fly folks for free to Houston if you needed to go to MD Anderson.
