I guess I’m the owner of a new fusion precision 1911 bantam. I never win anything, but my wife bought some raffle tickets at a car show and won this pistol plus a case of ammo. After negotiating a trade for some fancy purses, it’s now mine.

From what I gather it’s colt 70 clone, 3.5 inch barrel, some Trump 2020 logo stuff. I’ve never heard of fusion precision before, but they list around $800.

After a first look it’s not going to replace my kimber ultra carry. Maybe I’ll trade it for something if there is a market. The case of 230 gr ball was the best part of the deal for me smile .

I considered a 10mm at a pawnshop a few months ago but after reading mixed reviews I passed.
I buy parts from Fusion but build my own 1911s. Here's a lightweight Fusion Officer Model frame used on a .45acp. They have quality parts.

I had them fit a 38 Super barrel to my LW commander size Kimber Pro Carry. I am pretty happy with the results.

Don't know anything about their complete pistols
It's definitely an old school model 70, 33 ounces without a mag. My kimber ultra carry is about 25 oz. It has a nice grip and a decent trigger, although a bit gritty I think it will clean up. It doesn't fit any current needs so I'm trying to justify keeping it vs trading it off. I usually carry my M&P shield .45 because of the size and weight.
CZ bought the Dan Wesson 1911 company from a guy named Bob Serva I believe. He then started another gun company, Fusion Firearms. If it’s the same company and owner, it should be a really good pistol.
Yes Bob Serva (Fusion Firearms) make some nice stuff. I had one of their Commanders a while back. Was very nice. Ended up selling it to a fellow who really wanted it… and had cash!
