My day off. Things have been busy here for the last 8 weeks but as the world turns….I’m getting fat and my wallet is getting fat. Free food and time and a half has it’s rewards.

I am going bald.


However, I have a great family, great parents, a nice place in the country and a natural feeling of contentment.

I washed my garage windows today. Inside and out! I think I washed them last in 2018, or there abouts.

Looks like the coming recession means a slow down in construction. We might actually get back to 5 - 10’s and can take weekends off again. I might vote straight “D” in November.

We didn't get eaten by a catamount or bar.

House was still standing when we got home. Running water, toilet, fridge.

Life ain't bad.

Spoke with my youngest son last night and all is well with our first grandson.

Rented a mini excavator to put a French drain in behind my shop. I didn’t break it so that’s cool. I used the [bleep] out of it though. . Found out how big a rock it’ll lift and won’t.

Added a (bigger) excavator to the list of things I’m going to buy when I win the lotto.
