Fugg yeah, one of the worlds most perfect foods. Made right here, Minnesota strong!..oh wait, buncha friggin Mexicans make SPAM.
Those maters look divine!
I haven't had spam in probably 40 years. When I was a kid my mom would fry it up for supper about every other week. It was OK but far from a favorite. I'd need to be pretty hungry to eat any today.

Fugg yeah! We be rollin now bitches.
When I was growing up, everytime General Motors would lay my dad off, we were Spam eating MF'rs. LOL! Fried Spam, red beans and mac and cheese! I never knew we went through hard times. I just ate what was put in front of me like I was told!
These were the smaller burger buns. Not sure if Iād call them slider size.
Made two toasted bun sandwiches
Fried it in its own juices that came out. Skillet to a light brown crispy texture.
Thereās enough for one more sandwich in the can. I munched on two independent slices.
So a polite person could make four sandwiches.
I cannot find any fault with the flavor, texture.
Pretty darn good.

I need to review the Aldi brand. They call themselves Brookmeade or some chit. I forget. Because I have several cans of that.
One of my favorite "pack in" wilderness meals as a kid was fried spam mixed with some cheesy rice mixture..... tried to re-create it at home but no luck. Old man was an expert backcountry wilderness chef lol.

You're right.
Too much salt, nitrate and nitrates in there.
Probably need probiotics if you eat too much as it would likely kill off your intestinal fauna.

Raw spam on white bread with mayo and lettuce was a lunch pail delight back in my truck driving days.
No need to fry it.

Well, it was a moving tribute. Which really helped because I was sitting on the commode when I read it. Really moving.

Used to eat a lot of tuna noodle casserole, good stuff and cheap.
Try some of the hickory flavored spam. Way better than the regular stuff. Makes a killer breakfast hash with fried taters, onion, and peppers.

Crock wearin faag no doubt.
They make SPAM in a foil wrap that is just the right size and shape for one sandwich. I usually buy four or five right before deer season. Keep them in my pack or coat pocket. Bring two pieces of bread in a ziploc and make sandwiches as needed.
Good stuff.

I suppose it's better than nothing if you can't afford real meat but not by much.
I can eat it if power goes out for an extended period to my 8 freezers.
Weād have a hell of a community grill out though.
I give those two thawing deer to the dogs first thing. š
Our power was out for 5 days back in April and I didn't need to eat any mystery meat.

Tuna noodle casserole was a staple in the house growing up. Especially during Lent

Did ya boil some crabs over tha campfire? LOL
Oh yea, I know I could 5 days without losing anything frozen.
I purposefully have 5-7 cub ft freezers that I could run with only about 2amp draw
Got 2 small 5,000 watt generators and 3 different DC-to-AC invertors that could keep everything frozwn
Got about 45 gals of stabilized gasoline on hand to run gens and 7 cars that could run invertors. Would onky have to run those units 3-4 hours a day to keep frozen
I wouldnt have to do anything for 3 days long as I didnāt open doors and lids.
Besides, Iām referring to long term outages. 2,3 weeks.
Donāt have a solar array yet. Or a whole house.
Iād begin to make jerky out of the several hundred lbs of beef and deer ai had *if* things began to look bleak.
I have 30 lbs Tender Quick sodium nitrate and sodium nitrite, and Prague #1. Start curing. I have 4 dehydrators, propane outdoor range top, 300 gals of propane, and a couple thousand canning jars.
I aināt concerned about much.

I just plugged the fridge and freezer into my generator for a few hours each day after day two. The wood stove kept us warm and our cook stove is gas so we were fine. No need for any extreme measures. We lose power here 3-4 times a year on average for anywhere from a day to a week so we're used to it.

Awful lot of Friday nights growing up in a Catholic household before the Church gave in to the Heathen Masses.
Gotta love a Church that says you can't eat meat on Fridays but can eat capybara and bottlenose dolphin because they live in the water and are considered "fish"
Mom never fixed us no capybara.
Just tuna noodle casserole.

Guess I was never that hungry. Even when I was working my way through College. Ate a ton of Hamburger Helper, though.
I rarely ever buy tuna. When I do, itās for when I rarely crave a tuna salad sandwich.

Daughter makes them look like that. Gonna have to stock several cases sriracha.
Or have a bunch of dried peppers on hand and more growing in the garden. Make some salsa/hot sauce of your own.
Of course, a extra bottle of Sriracha will likely fetch a bunch of goodies when bartering during the Zombie Pokalips.
Sriracha addict likely to give you a half a lamb or a box of 30-30 shells even.

I had a Spam sandwich for lunch yesterday, with Miracle Whip and a fresh tomato. I like Spam, but my wife won't touch it. I do an omelet with Spam, and it's pretty darn good.
The night I quit drinking several years ago, I ate spam and hormel chilly, havenāt touched either since. 18 plus beers surly didnāt help mattersš¤¢š¤¢š¤®š¤®š¤®š¤®š¤®š¤®
