Reading the post below on the guy with cemetery lot for sale
What happens when you die if you dont have a specific burial plan in place? Like lets say im 55 and die ion a car wreck tomorrow,, i have my will and list in place , my beneficiaries too, but no cemetery or burial plan.
I definitely dont want buried in the town i grew up in.

Your next of kin can do with your body what they want.

Without a formal prearranged burial plan and choice on where to be buried of your own, all decisions would most likely be left up to closest surviving family.

Put the instruction into your will and make sure your executor (who you hopefully trust) will follow your instructions. But at the end of the day, you won't have much say in what happens after you're gone. And personally, I don't believe you will care.

Burn me up throw the ashes to the wind and it’s over as it won’t matter to me.

If no relatives can be found, the county will put your corpse in the cheapest ghetto cemetery they can find. If the idea of that bothers you, take steps now to have your burial handled like you want.

Nope, they don’t bury they burn. Direct burial 1000-1500 bucks. Direct cremation 400-500 bucks.

You're not a Democrat: when you're dead, you don't get a vote.

An elderly lady was a spinster, still a virgin at 80. She'd saved up $25,000 to have the best funeral and burial in town. She did have 1 regret, not having ever slept with a man. She decided to spend a bit of her burial money to pay a man to sleep with her. She put the word out that she'd pay a man $1000 to spend a night with her. A young couple heard about it and talked it over. They really needed the money and since the lady was so old, the wife knew she had no reason to be jealous so they decided he should do it.
The wife dropped him off on Friday evening and would be back at 8 in the morning to get him. The next morning she was there at 8 as agreed but he didn't come out. She waited a while then honked the horn. Finally he opened an upstairs window and yelled "Come back Monday. She's going to let the county bury her."

Decide what you want and where, then set up an irrevocable burial trust to pay for it.
