Beautiful clear and strong sound, wonderful range and consistent throughout, very accurate pitch - just right for a fine folk/pop/gospel singer. Soft/gentle when need be, but a truly bold voice. RP dear lady.
She had a great voice. She is what I think of when I remember the cool 60s chicks I had crushes on when I was a kid. My sister had a few friends that looked similar to her, in her early videos.

I almost posted that one...It is a shame how fast her health waned.
This certainly was a radio hit way back in the day.
I remember distinctly riding with my mom in her 64 (?) Nova listening to that come over the radio. I would have been 6 or 7 years old. She passed a few months ago.
Told people at the time that her death would hit me out of the blue, like in the pickle isle in the grocery store.
