My blood pressure dropped from the high 160s low 170s over 80-90s within two weeks of quitting… I had started using an inhaler for COPD and stopped a couple weeks ago… went from a restless 5-6 hrs. Sleep and chronic fatigue to a full 8 hrs. + every day…fuggin tobacco should be by prescription only….absolutely heinous drug…

As a ex smoker, I now for a fact that smoking is dangerous for you health. But it makes you feel like a damn man.

Interesting idea. Financially for me then yes, collecting my first wife's life insurance and half her pension every month. Emotionally not so much watching someone you love ratchet down day by day coughing up blood, going through chemo hell, losing weight, hair, vitality and the will to live. I told her that we could be sitting on a beach in Hawaii for two weeks every year for cost of the smoke that she was blowing into the back yard.

Smoking is pretty damn dumb. But hey, its still a free country, sort of.

I quit in 1999 felt the difference for the better within 6 months IMO they bad for your health.
