The next presidential election is not for two more years. A lot can happen in that time. The Supreme Court will convene in October and there is potential for some landmark decisions in the next session. Midterm elections in November and Trump supported candidates did well in the primaries. Let's see what happens the rest of this year and go from there.

Some of you guys just don’t get it. I liked that about trump that he says what he wants. But there is place and time for all that. Every presidential election is about the 10% in the middle, the Republican and Democrat bases are pretty much set, about 45% each. The problem with the 10% in the middle is that they are often single issue voters or simply don't stand for much, either way. The democrats are good a spinning their message, promising all sort of goodies to the middle knowing that they will never deliver, the Republicans are held more accountable for their political promises so it's a sticky situation, representing your base honestly and winning elections. I'll vote for the Republican candidate, whoever wins the nomination. Trump would only have four years remaining with Democrat obstructionist trying to stop him at every turn. Someone like DeSantis could have the potential for eight years and could initiate real change in turning this USA ship in the right direction. We'll see how it plays out. I'm most interested who the VP candidates will be, DeSantis won't be #2 to anyone, and not sure Nikki Haley would be either, anyone taking on the VP spot will want promises of support for an eventual POTUS run.

I would rather vote for DeSantis. He basically follows the Trump game plan but has a better way of dealing with the politics that goes with being POTUS. I think all the Maga voters would vote for him if Trump backs away and certainly more Dems and Indys would too just to put Biden put on the shelf if he runs again. Lots of people love Trump but even more don't IF you believe that the 2020 election was legit. I think if he runs it will prove to be a problem for the GOP. My guess is he will announce he is running before the mid terms so the results of that election will tell us how it will really play out in 2024. We need a GOP POTUS in 2024 so whatever it takes to improve those odds needs to happen...so the question is...will Trump help or hinder?

Every presidential election is about the 10% in the middle, the Republican and Democrat bases are pretty much set, about 45% each. The problem with the 10% in the middle is that they are often single issue voters or simply don't stand for much, either way. The democrats are good a spinning their message, promising all sort of goodies to the middle knowing that they will never deliver, the Republicans are held more accountable for their political promises so it's a sticky situation, representing your base honestly and winning elections. I'll vote for the Republican candidate, whoever wins the nomination. Trump would only have four years remaining with Democrat obstructionist trying to stop him at every turn. Someone like DeSantis could have the potential for eight years and could initiate real change in turning this USA ship in the right direction. We'll see how it plays out. I'm most interested who the VP candidates will be, DeSantis won't be #2 to anyone, and not sure Nikki Haley would be either, anyone taking on the VP spot will want promises of support for an eventual POTUS run.

I’m all for Trump. As I’ve said in previous post, the republicans are just as bad as the democrats. If they don’t support Trump, I won’t support them. I believe that the only reason Trump got into politics, was because he’s tired of the corruption. Christ, he’s rich enough to not have to worry about anything. Why else would someone get into this stuff, unless they were tired of seeing it and wanted to do something about it? Why else would both the democrats and the establishment republicans go after him like they have? I honestly believe Trump is doing his best to restore “Government of the people by the people “ to the freakin people! You know, the job is ours. This is exactly why the Founding Fathers put the First and Second Amendments First and Second. When the people are silenced and disarmed, the government can do as they please. We oughta be ashamed to hope and pray that Trump can bail us out, instead of restoring the rule of law ourselves. 7mm
