Thank God grunge came around and ended that schit music.
Rock and roll was invented to aid in getting laid. What planet you from?
Aren't ALL rock songs about getting laid??

This one dances around the subject a bit.

Nine Inch Nails - Closer
There are rock songs about something else?
I was quite a bit older when I learned that Raspberry Beret was about such. I confess I never paid that much attention to it but that there was a story there was news to me.

How about a country song

I'm guessing Freddie's nephew had it coming?

I love listening to Flaco, have for years.

The best one... never mentioned? Shocking.

On topic, but by an artist actually worth listening to lol.

I didn’t go off topic first, I saw some Bantu/Tutsi/Hutu/bushman crap back in there.

"Believe" - Jefferson Starship
Cecilia by Simon and Garfunkel! memtb
This one's subtle, but if you read carefully between the lines you'll pick up the the theme:

ZZ Top. Mexican Blackbird
Get ready to puke. grin

Sorry for crapping on your thread JakeB.
Not Rock, but same theme..

#2 Foghat- Slow Ride
#3 Bad Company- Feel Like Making Love

And Number 1 is....

Boston!- Let Me Take You Home Tonight!

Actually, any of these three could be number one depending on the day or night! All three are great songs!
The cleanest dirty song of all time (they are not singing about an ice cream treat, I’m told).

The ultimate romance song....

A little country for the heck of it...

Y'all put up some good ones over the weekend.

I think you might have missed this one though, and if not, it's worth repeating:

Roger, hope that dude got what was coming to him in the joint from the fellas who's relatives did schiedt to them. And then I hope they shanked him.

Can you imagine having Wendy O do a private concert at your place in the olden days. Just a few friends in the back yard!

Great stuff Geno! Too bad Dusty Hill passed last year.
I understand they are still touring with their guitar tech subbing for Dusty. That would just ruin it for me.
He was one of the greatest bassist’s of all time, in my book. And had a hell of a great singing voice too.
Most folks don’t realize he sang the lead part on many of ZZ Top’s hits. Did a hell of a great Elvis Impression, too. RIP Dusty !

Here’s one he really kicks ass on :

Yep, he did a lot of their vocals.
Anyone mention "Feel my heat" by Dirk Diggler?
