Alcohol and firearms are a bad policy. The adult beverages come after the evening hunt back at camp with your buddies. Hardest thing I drink while I’m hunting is overly strong coffee.

I reckon the boy's talking about those best days...the one's serious deer hunters work in anticipation of the days ahead.
