Have a lot of hickory on the home property and they all look pretty much like this




New kid showed up on the block and I gotta wonder what its roots are sucking on...

Shagbark maybe? Didn't think they grew that far south.

It is too small for the bark to resemble a shagbark, the others are definitely not that variety. One is close to 100’ tall. They are quite common in central Florida and to the north.
