Unions are great, they serve a very important and much needed purpose.

They collect money from members to distribute to politicians, Democrat politicians and the Democrat party.

They help their brain dead members to vote by supplying them with a list of Union approved candidates.

They encourage mediocrity, entitlement and laziness in the work place.

They demand defiance and hatred towards their employer, unless that employer is The Government, in that case they demand obedience.

All of there things and many more are why we need unions.

On a related note: a congressman has just introduced a bill in the house to stop federal funding of teachers unions. IOW, WE have been paying them to do this stuff. Do the feds fund the Teamsters? AFL-CIO? Rail unions? etc? Why does any union get funding? If the workers want a union, they should be willing to pay for it themselves.
