Biden expected to issue an apology.

We looked bad at times. We will get knocked out of the next match I predict.

Our defense is good, but our offense is mediocre. We're gonna have a tough time Saturday vs Holland.

The best way to fix soccer -

1. Field is too large. Shrink it down.
2. Too many players. 3 front line, 2 defenders, 1 goalie - done.
3. Let the players come in and out of the game without stopping it. Flow and strategy.
4. Shrink the goal by quite a bit.
5. Cover it all in ice.

Watched a bit of the UK-US match. We had a whole slew of corner kicks and shots, but couldn’t get one in. A draw with all that going for us seems like a loss.

Don’t absolutely hate soccer, but it’s close……

Did you see the press conference afterwards where an iranian journalist asked a US player what it was like playing for a racist country like the US?

Thank you, Obama. He spent 8 years, portraying America as a horrible racist country.
During the campaign in '08, Obama said he wanted to "fundamentally transform" America, and he wasn't kidding.

I would give a crap about the comments of an Iranian journalist. It would be a good opportunity to gloat about our victory.

I was busy changing the air in my tires, then I had to pluck my nose hairs out with needle nose pliers.

At least with #5 they would have an excuse for flopping on the ground.

Should have replied "Awesome". How is that freedom of religion working out in your country?

Agreeing with earlier comments about the mediocrity so far. Excellent talent and some very good skills; defense fairly well organized; here and there a flash of strong offense; do not know how -or care - to sustain strong pressure on the other team's defense; am thinking it is a coaching problem in large part. Hoping for the best, but seems bleak. Maybe they will get it together.
