I donāt have a favorite in the hunt this year so I only care about good games. Sadly, I don't think anyone can play with Georgia for 4 quarters this year. Hope Iām wrong.

Pundits saying if tcu looses they stay in top 4. So Georgia would get to snack on frog legs and Michigan would try to roast the buckeyes again before becoming a canine squeaky toy.

I'm glad USC lost yesterday, that way we get to see Ohio State show their ass again.
Figured the Suckeyes would luck into the playoffs one way or another. They wonāt get past Georgiaās dominating DF.
OSU sucks, like always.
It really doesn't matter what TCU does today, they will not be #1 when the last whistle blows. I believe it will be Georgia, but if you told me that Michigan won it all, it wouldn't completely surprise me. Everyone else is window dressing.

Guess it could happen. But Michigan hasnāt faced a DF like the Bulldogs. Not this year, anyhow. If I were a betting man, which Iām not, Iād bet on Georgia being National Champions.

As would I.
I told the wife today, it's Georgia and then everyone else.

They will get a bowl bid, just not in the championship playoffs. It will be better when they go to the 12 game playoff. I think it will be 8 conference champions and 4 of the best teams.

Theyāre just hoping to get ND in the playoffs. š
The first play from inside the one, there was no one over the center. A qb sneak was a sure thing. They get stuffed and do the same thing again instead of going for 3? UFR.

Tcu had a great season. Schiet happens. Theyre 1 and 1 vs KS st.
And 0-1 in the championship game.
Correct, retard.

š„² Iām a Kansas State grad. I couldnāt care less about Mn college or pro football.
Ahh. I suspect you're also a fan of Tulane too lol
(Edit: why would anyone move from Kansas to a schiethole like Minnesota? )
Nope on Tulane
Good question on the move. It was a career thing. No jobs in Ks. But I got a great job with a major corporation. With that career I moved from Ks to Houston Tx, to Natchez Ms, to Toledo oh, to Portland Or, to Minneapolis Mn, to Toledo Oh, then to Minneapolis Mn, over 39 years. Retired here cause kids and grandkids are here.

I truly am sorry, but good on you for putting family ahead of quality of life.
On a side note, does anyone find it ironic that as soon as NIL takes place, all the sudden Alabama isn't invincible?
You should invite TCU to watch the NC game with you, cause they just lost their spot.
So who gets the spots? Assuming no Appalachian State showing by my team ā¦ š¬
Find out Monday?
TCU was ranked #3 prior to this game. I canāt fathom them dropping only one spot to make the playoffs. Plus they are now not even a conference champ.
Tcu is out, Alabama will back into the playoffs because nick satan will biatch and moan if they don't. Keep in mind their notable win is against Texas.
Whatever makes sense, the opposite will occur with the "playoff". It's about $$$$
I say put Tulane in! They beat Kansas St., who best Tcu, so they must be #2 in the nation. Put K st in and give them a 2nd shot at Tulane lol
Yeah. Just always concerned about the letdown after a big win like last week.
Little off topic but what is your opinion of Cade McNamara? He has to be better than Petras but the O line needs to give whoever is back there time to throw. And someone to throw to. Iowa's offense can't be any worse than this year

He's a good QB. No Duggan, but really good. Top 5 in the nation.

Yeah. Heās good. Iād probably say top 10; but heās right there.
Life long Bama fan here. Alabama will get the fu*k beat out of them against Georgia. I don't want to have to go through that. This season has damn near killed me. Worse two coordinators in the SEC, a severely overrated quarterback, & lazy [bleep] Will Anderson Jr. (Seriously, watch him and only him the last 6 games.... he isn't even trying on third downs. The draft can't get here fast enough)
So the Heels are driving nicely and in the red zone. Maybe throws a completely bone head interception that was returned for 6. It was the 2nd mistake that ended in a touch for Clemson . We are our own word enemy at this point. Clemson up 30-10.

Saw that. I was sure hoping they would beat Clemson.

Good grief; Bryce Young is the best QB ever at Alabama. Has played hurt most of the season and we would have lost 4-5 games without him.

Blake Sims (The running back turned quarterback) had a better year in 2014 that Young did this year.
Overrated. I guess he was just hurt in the 2nd half of the National Championship game last year too, huh? No, he was exposed as a player who was fortunate to play with 2 great receivers. He didn't have them as a safety net this year either, and guess what... barely above average.
Why don't you tell us why Trump is forever mentioning 17 and drawing Air Qs? You don't tell us why because you're too ignorant and stupid to do so.
Air Qs!!! Itās another air Q! I saw it Mildred!!! By gawd I saw it!!!
Q knows football.
I called him but he was in a meeting with President Trump. He will contact me later today. I'll let you know what he says on the Connecting Dots thread.
How about the Pope? How do you feel about him, please?
And while you're at it, Trump too.
With all due respect, you shouldnāt talk about God
Thanks for your decency.
With all due respect should the Pope?
"There's going to be a Great gnashing of teeth" and those who think they bought a spot in heaven will be greatly surprised.
Doesn't your Pope talk about Peace on Earth being his desire?
HE said this: Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace, but a sword. 35 For I have come to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.
Here is the Queen after being told by Trump that he and the Patriots were taking down the Bank of England and Modern Babylon.
She never returned to Buckingham Palace after that day.
Here's the Pope after Trump told him he and the Patriots were taking down their modern Babylon cult empire. One contemplative, one in shock, one happy man, one sick man after being told, God wins.
Yeah. Just always concerned about the letdown after a big win like last week.

Cade is solid. Led UofM last year quite well it's just that JJ is more dynamic. JJ is more of a threat with his ability to run. I was surprised to see Cade chose Iowa because of their lack of offense, solid D however. Wish nothing but good luck for Cade.
And for the love of college football keep the Q stuff out of this thread. Not directed at either of the 2 who's posts are quoted.
(TCU v KS) Going for it on fourth and short in overtime was a bad idea. Getting a touchdown would be nice, but it won't necessarily win the game for you. Not making it however, will almost certainly lose the game for you because the other team will just kick a field goal and win. Which is exactly what happened.

Yes, but the other team has to move the ball into field goal range, which thankfully, they did.

JJ McCarthy is 19 years old and looking at a bright future.
McCarthy showed a really good arm in the Purdue game, far better than I've given him credit for until now.
He's going to need it if they end up playing GA, as I doubt UM is going to rack up a lot of rushing yards in that game.
MM
I wonder if JJ needs to alter his pre-game warm-up routine. He seems to over throw a lot of his early passes. Too bad Edwards is limited with his playing abilities, they're going to miss Corum.
JJ is gaining confidence with every game. He overthrew a couple that would been 6. Ill conceived throw that went INT. Coaches had a talk with him about that.
Morris playing is absolutely critical. His pressure on QBs results in their sack or bad throws. Secondary including Colson has to be on their came too. TCU QB is damn good and looking for redemption.
Cade will hopefully do fine at Iowa. BIG 10 Champ winner, a lot less pressure. He's had some issues with that pressure leading up to games.
I for one, am not looking past TCU. They were undefeated for a reason. Now they're playing for respect...that's a whole 'nother ballgame.
Donovan Edwards had 185 yards Saturday. He has stepped up I'd say. JJ had 3 TD passes.
Ya, two plays account for what, 110 of those yards... I'm a little concerned with ball security with that wrap on his hand. His pass catching abilities are compromised, Stu picked up on the short route success.
Blake had surgery last Thursday, he's done for this year.
Yes, he did and JH said "done for the season", which ended with the BIG10 Championship. Everything else is post season.
How soon can you start rehab after meniscus surgery? I've heard it's three to six weeks for a rotor-ruter job, three to six months if they repair a tear. They haven't been very clear about how extensive the surgery was...
My fat ass was doing a corporate obstacle course a week and a half post-op after getting scoped for a torn meniscus. It werenāt pretty, but I was not last. They basically clean up the tear by smoothing the edges of the tear. 3-4 weeks is a nice, long time for a healthy kid like Blake.
āNon-structuralā repair is what they said. No way UM Docs let him play those two plays with an ACL or MCL tear. He wasnāt at the BIG10 Champ game because the sooner thatās fixed, the sooner he can take the field. I just hope he doesnāt sit out until the NFL combine.
Good chance he had a meniscus repair as opposed to the partial meniscectomy you describe. I havenāt heard and itās been closely guarded, but my bet would be on repair. Not all tears are amenable to repair, but if his was, it would be the preferred treatment.
