Going back to another COE/ TWRA spot I haven't been in for about 11 or 12 days.
Had 2 good buck encounters in this one also earlier this season but no chance for a shot, and I'm pretty sure no one has been in it since me cause I been driving by it everyday hunting this one I have been lately.
Even if they have it hasn't been in the area I hunt it.
Have never seen another hunter in their going back 11 or 12 yrs.


Getting a little mentally burnt out looking at the same woodline I have been for the past 8 or 9 days.
And duck season starts tomorrow on that adjacent Duck club.

Rolling with what my mind had in it when I woke up 20 mins ago.
Go to this other spot that ain't been hunted in awhile and something might present itself or something might have satellited in to be seen and give me a shot.
And if it's a bust today, go back to other COE/ TWRA spot and duck club war zone pressure on tomorrow's opener might make something happen.

Come in from about 125 yds out.
All types of shots could have been put on em..
Get to within 40 yds of me and go laser eye on me.
Then boogie on out on a curve around me and go by.

Get down wind and blow at me and haul azz.


Even seeing a partial upper human Shape they can ID and peg..

At least deer are still coming thru here.
And it is still really early for this spot.

You fellas down south got it good. I have seen 10 deer since September. I spent 60 days in the field. I shot the ONLY whitetail deer we've seen.

We are in bad shape for deer herds here.

I'm only seeing like 300 of it from the COE land
And it all bottle necks in and out in that NE corner of the COE land.

They are gonna get schit stirred up when they start shooting.
And I can see what is coming from that corn and Northern field I been seeing that buck cross to get in that corn from the woods along the Cumberland on the DC.

Told him I got plenty of places to hunt till he drops a good one.
Then we can talk about hunting together late season for satellite bucks if I still have a tag.

My rifle don't need to be on my main man's lands till he has something worthy dead down and on the ground.
Given the conditions that have gone down this year it's the right to do giving him a solid.
