It's a Caterpillar, and it's parked at a tiler's yard.
A genuine, first Gen, turbo-encabulator!
Good find!
Well, next generation tech...was gonna surplant oil, coal, gas, nuclear...but some big mil tech bought it up and buried it!
It looks like old asphalt paving equipment to me.
It has a large disk blade ground level on the left, and a large conveyer chain in the right side.
It's not cheap...fyi wabi
Hard to see the pics on me fone, sod cutter?
It is a scrap iron maker.
Looks like an old grader for paving as mentioned. Saw one similar used for that purpose

Kinda what it looks like. But I've not seen anything like it that rings the bell.
Old timey ditching machine.
Turbo encabulator...sheesh
Don't argue with experts about sinusoidal...something
Olympic? National? Some other?

After you said that, it obviously digs something, and conveys what it digs...
Potato harvester?
Now I think I'll call them, and ask.

Inquire into the cost of a new Gen turbo-encabulator.
Thank me later!
It's a vintage fadudenator. It fadudenates stuff.

Sinusoidal waves.

Sinusoidal waves.
Nope...more complex. Shows you didnt watch the expert I posted.

Fraud, sir.
Terrace maker, for terracing farm fields.
Likely an old tiling machine.
Or a corrosive old personality

I've seen it before. But there is such a thing as sinusoidal waves.

Holy hell...

Oldman03,
Wave partical duality is a trip, fyi.

I'm not sure what it's called, but it looks like what your pickup will look like after a few years sitting behind the barn because you can't get gas or diesel to run it.
Elevating road grader, pulled by a machine cutting the material with the disc, then it goes up the conveyer into a wagon or truck, quite a machine back in the day !

Might be able to see it better if it wasn’t sitting amongst a mini Superfund site
Them truck tars look like they would go on a 62 GMC flatbed. One in the front is a little slick but I reckon I could get another twenny thousan mile out of her.

I admit I dont know much about all the applications of using sinusoidal waves. Using an oscilloscope and fooling with the sine (sinusoidal) waves is about my limit.

How about the one resting against the machine? Looks brand new, prolly just mounted before the storm hit.
I think the one we’re looking at is missing a few parts…..😊
Looks like Loggah got it first. In the dirt moving trade in the west they were called a Mucker.
The one in Wabi's picture is really special.
I see it has an engine. Surprised it has no cleats on the rear tires.

Shh, you gonna jinx the deal, you're supposed to hum and haw about the slick one and get him to come down on em, get a cheaper price that way.

A cross between a scraper and a motor grader ?
I'm always amazed at some of the ditches cut through the armpit of Northwest Minesota where I live. I would have trouble with my modern hydraulic machinery to do the same job, yet they cut perfectly straight ditches through unbelievable situations. Cudos to those old engineers and operators. Most are gone but I have always enjoyed listening to their stories. Draglines, horses, and a lot of hard work to make this area habitable, much less farmable.

Didja happen to ask the feller that owned it?

Too easy.
All we need is a uberlanche, some cable, a winch, and wabi.

Planting bed row machine for melon fields
Amazing waste of bandwidth, its a furrower for a pot field
Terrace maker, for terracing farm fields.
Not anything like the one that I have. Never saw mine used but my Dad used it to make a lot of terraces back in the early 50's. Single plow, used on a small Ford tractor. Saw a picture of one like it, and the plow went between the front and rear wheel. miles
