A younger friend of mine that does the TicToc & face book thing that recently switched to them calls them Busch Lattes. Ask for them that way in a bar & never gets turned down.

I guess they must be a thing.

They don't taste bad, but I'm scared of the next day.

I've been enjoying this quite a bit. It's crisp, clean and easy drinking. Unlike the mass market light beers that claim those qualities, Paulaner Pils is real beer with good beer flavor. By real I mean it isn't brewed with corn syrup, rice or other cheapening adjuncts.

How about an unmolested single malt?

[Linked Image]
Mathman you should consider molesting that
Posted By: mathman Re: Social lubricant (drankin) - 02/01/23
True, my molestation isn't that of chill filtration and caramel coloring. grin
As long as it’s short on the peat, and long on the whiskey taste. 😎
Be a bit of a drive for ya, but if ya show up, it’s (1) show gun collection, (2) shoot, (3) show bourbon collection, (4) sip or shoot... guest’s choice.😎

I don't see the good Canadian beers around here in Cajun country.
Yes, it's a shame, I'd like to try several posted here, but no distribution up here.

Heck, can't even get trav's jai alai, let alone some of the porters, posted.

Don't get me wrong, craft beer is strong up here, but it tends to be regional.

It's worth searching out.

The homebrew clone of it (I lost the recipe) but usually you make 5 gallons on a 10 gallon system, well there's not enough room in 10 gallons for grist and wash so you had to go even larger. Grain bill was huge for 5 gals.

It's a great beer but not one to pound 8-10 of them and drive.
Ah, no, you can't guzzle a pile of 8+% ABV beers & do much of anything.
I fall into the camp of flavourful, dark, high alcohol beers in the colder months.

I'll still drink IPA's & such, in summer, over commercial domestic, unless I've just done 2 hours mowing, then give me an ice cold high life, or something of that nature.

I’m a Eagle Rare guy. I stopped by a liquor store yesterday and they were offering tastings. They had a new brand of bourbon I hadn’t heard of before. Penelope. I tried their cask strength. It had a bit of burn but then I tried their toasted. Holy cow that was smooth. No burn at all. $70 a bottle. I pay $50 for eagle rare so this new stuff seemed over priced. I left it there……. For now
