That just proves you're not fully developed mentally , in other words .. slow, dimwitted etc .

a human ear is capable of picking out & identifying individual notes, even in a blistering 500 note guitar solo

I agree. Bands like AC/DC. Van Halen, Guns n' Roses, Led Zeppelin, and others, are often categorized as Heavy Metal. But, I never thought of them as such. There like a step above rock n' roll. AC/DC and Zepellin are both heavily influenced by blues and early rock n' roll.
Metal head here, as long as there’s actually singing and no Cookie Monster impersonating going on.

Agree with your summary..

Example…

AC/DC is the best rock band of all time

Pantera is the best heavy metal band of all time

Six Feet Under is the best death metal band of all time

here's an example of a very well composed song, every note contributes and there is no excess

singing like that takes a lot of training and continuous practice ..

not everybody can sing like that, especially for that length of time

No, Rock & Roll was Elvis, Buddy, Chuck, Richie, etc. Ended by 1960.

British Invasion was the beginning of Rock in all of it's many, many variations.

I like most all of it.
