I did a trip to Wawa and Thunder Bay Canada in Ontario. Did some fishing and hunting. Wasn't impressed with either those trips. Would like to try a different province like Manitoba or Saskatchewan.

My wife and I visited B.C., Canada, a couple of times. When I was a kid, my parents took us to Canada twice. Sask., Alberta, and B.C. I worked for 12 weeks in Toronto several years ago. It is a beautiful country.

Actually, this is a pretty typical response here.

"Have someone else do it."

Balloon was over OUR country...wtf do Canadians have to do with it?

You stupid fuq, Canada allowed a Chinese spy device to enter their own airspace then enter our airspace at the closest point possible from our Nuclear Missile facilities. So much for being an ally. Yes I have heard of Norad. WTF does that have to do with it? WTF is Canada relying on the US for everything?

Well, there was the trucker convoy & blockades at border crossings.

3 Provincial governments, have told Justine, to shove his gun control bill up his arse & that they will not bow to the Fed .gov.

Well, also the conservatives, along with many interested/invested parties, just got the Fed .libs, to back down on their inane addendum's, to bill C-21.

The only reason, sparkle socks, the part time drama teacher, is still in power, is that he did a dirty deal, with muslim NDP leadership scum.

I've gone there fishing and hunting. Last 10 or 12 years, however, I've probably only been over there half a dozen times, border is just not as friendly as it used to be.

I'm rather fond of Canada.

Have deer hunted in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Ontario.
And played softball in Victoria BC (one of the prettiest places I've ever spent time) and all the way east to Nova Scotia & Prince Edward Island.

Steer clear of the metro areas and it's no different than the conservative areas in our country ā€“ good folks.

So you are a fervent Trudeau lover! Sad.

Canada used to be really cool in the 70's and into the early 80's. After that, I don't know, it got all crazy...

70's: High School band trips -- Ottawa 1st gig, and Montreal 2nd gig, coming from northern NY in the Adirondacks.
Hilarious moment: On a dare, I approached a woman in a public park, and quoted the lyrics from "Lady Marmalade" by LaBelle. You remember the song where they all sudden start singing in French: Voulez-vous coucher avec moi? Well, I said that to the lady, and she looked at me, put her book down, and ripped into me in French, angrily speaking at 100 mph. Me and my friends hauled a$$ outta there, and rejoined back up with everyone else!

80's: USCG Station Buffalo, NY. We'd always go over the Peace Bridge into Fort Erie, Ontario and get plastered in the bars & clubs, and miraculously somehow we made it back through US Customs, and back to the base. Southern Ontario women will take care of you, that's for sure! Treat them wrong, and they will freakin' kick your a$$!

Outstanding!

Please tell us more about how the US is fuggin Canada!

I'm still waiting.

PS. Heard of NORAD?

So Norad controls Canada airspace hundreds of miles in the country? You need to pull your head out of your azz and think about that. Trudeau will welcome all the new border hoppers just like he did all those Muslims he loves more than his subjects. Pay those taxes!

But you, specifically, what are you doing about your [bleep] situation ?

Don't worry, you'll know when the time, is right.

Specifically as much as possible. The "shyte" I am supposed to be worried about is my country. That schit in particular being Canada's government letting a Chinese spy device fly directly toward this country and let it cross into our airspace as close to a huge nuclear missile base as is possible. This was not by accident.

You bet Trudeau is a real special kind of guy.

You are so off topic now, trying to defend yourself, kinda funny.

Viva Texas!

Actually no you retard, Trudeau is the topic. Sold out to China and helping them run spy devices in on the US. Got it yet?

I like Canada----Quebec is a different story. Been to Ontario to walleye/pike fishing. I going on a fly in trip there this June. Been to Niagara Falls several times & the sites around there. Drove thru Quebec to go caribou hunting. Those French Canadians are just plain rude. I'll never go back to Quebec but I'll go back to Canada.

I really like the Canadian National Anthem. Bob
Posted By: KillerBee Re: Canada - 02/09/23
My Question is why would the US government allow the Chinese to fly surveillance devices over your Nuclear sites, and then freely float around the USA for a week?

If I were the President of the USA I would have shot it down over The Aleutian Islands, way before it even reached Alaska.

Anyone care to take a guess?

Good evening to you sir, I trust your section of WI is getting a good winter and you and those you love are well.

I'm cognizant your question wasn't directed to those of us residing north of the medicine line, but since we seem to be participating in some capacity, hopefully it's acceptable if one more Canuck does that.

Regarding how the country has changed over the years, I'd say that's a correct assessment for sure, but certainly more visible in the bigger centers. To be clear though, northern Washington say Wenatchee or even Spokane hardly resembles Seattle in terms of "feel" so if one would only see one and not the other - well one wouldn't have a clear picture is all.

There's been some discussion regarding NORAD and rather than share my limited knowledge of how our joint air defense is run, I'll offer a link to Operation Yellow Ribbon where somewhere north of 230 planes and between 30,000 and 45,000 travelers bound for US destinations were sheltered up here.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Yellow_Ribbon

Other posts have covered that over the years but certainly since PM Socks came into power we've become much too cozy with the CCP. Much too much...

There are many of us who are attempting to steer our country back to a more sane and center position, but as it seems on both sides of the medicine line, there's a well funded movement who are opposed to that.

It might behoove us who do lean to the right of center to work at building bridges and seeing how we can work together - or not, you know?

Hopefully some of this is inane enough to qualify for participation and if not sir, then in true Canadian tradition I'll say I'm sorry about that. wink

Best to you.

True that. However we have a metrosexual Prime Minister who is a big time globalist/UN lover/WEF lover who puts more time into deciding what socks heā€™s going to wear anything than anything else. Except heā€™s trying to ban all guns.

Add in that our Hornets were bought starting in 1978. Can they still go to 60000 feet?

But anyways dumbass, it was over Canada way less than your country and did not overfly any bases of significance.

Headed back through the endless woods of New Brunswick. I forget where I crossed back but it was a two lane road, I was the only one there, and the Customs guy having not much else to do searched the vehicle.

Good morning Birdwatcher,

Sounds like you had a sewing machine in your ā€˜64 VW Microbus, I know what that is like the first car I bought with my own money as a 1964 Austin America Mini, every transport truck blew me off the highway lol. They run forever on very little gas.

Luckily for me, when I was going to school one day a woman driving a Mercedes blew a stop sign and hit me. Not much damage but she was panicked and told me she would give me $1,000.00 if I did not report the accident to the insurance company. My car was on its last legs after driving it home from Manitoba to Hudson Quebec then driving 4 cheerleaders home after football practice every day, so I grabbed the check she wrote on the spot, that was $400.00 more than I paid for it lol.

Anyway Just wanted to agree with your assessment of the Frogs in Quebec my family was 3 generation Quebecers and I UNFORTUNATELY for me I was born and raised there.

I also speak French very well, but only because I lived in an area with 4,000 French families and 5 English families and all the girls only spoke French. Since I like the ladies not speaking French was not optional lol.

Anyhow, IMO Quebec is the biggest chithole in North America. The frogs are very rude and ignorant, luckily for me I was smart enough to leave and I moved out west in the 80's. My mother was even smarter than me, she left and lived the last 20 years of her life in West Palm Beach in Florida.

The last place I will ever go on the Planet is Quebec! "MANGEZ DE MERDE GRENOUILLES"

LOL, oh I completely understand Osky, I was being rhetorical.

Can you believe that both of our countries are being run by Halfwits and Morons at the same time, this is a very dangerous time for all of us living in North America. That's what you get with rigged elections!

My concern is that if we can not detect a balloon floating into our airspace, how will our governments detect incoming missiles with devastating warheads attached to them? I used to believe that we had that covered, after the balloon ordeal, I am far from convinced that we do.

You are also correct about our fishing opportunities, simply fantastic! I must admit though that your elk hunting is 1,000 times better than ours, your elk populations are massive compared to our tiny elk populations. I am so jealous! hehehe

I grew up playing in several baseball tournaments each summer in SK. Did several fishing trips up there in my teens and will be hunting whitetails there this fall. Had my honeymoon in Canada and have taken several trips up the see the Pacific Coast and the Canadian Rockies. The Canadians I know are great folks and most are even less impressed with their leadership than my American counterparts.

Many times. Ontario is only two hours away. Canadians are great people when you get outside of Windsor and the other metro areas.

Canadaā€™s a lot like the US on steroids in that the rule areas are vast and full of great people but population centers are extremely concentrated making up the overwhelming majority of the voting population.

Born, raised and live in South east B.C., 8 miles east of Alberta and north of Glacier park in Montana.
For those who don't know, we are Conservative and Christian.
Don't ever think that we condone the nonsense Federal Gov't.
It is an embarrassment and doesn't reflect our values.
Just like our neighbors in Alberta and Montana, same politics.
If you chose to go to a city, you will be disappointed- anywhere in this country or the US of A.
My little old opinion , folks

Well comrad Trudeau runs your country and to world it looks like he has sold you out for communist/fascist values. Noting that also considering your a subject instead of a citizen your values don't mean a thing. Nor does your vote. Get off your azz and do something about it.

Great times, and they even accept our currency. Seems the US should reciprocate.

Used to think of Canada as a potential alternative to the US. Not any more though.

Floated and fished the Bow River, and visited the Calgary zoo. Changed planes once there on a trip to Anchorage.

Canadiangunnutz.

The problem with Canadian hunting forums is that the moderators are quick on the trigger to ban people that confront them, and freedom of speech is Non-Existent.

24-hourcampfire is 100x's better than any Canadian forum I have been on.

So many Canadians are not allowed to speak ill of Turdeau in public forums?

Of course he's spoken ill of. Much stronger than "ill" of too. In fact he's probably the #1 topic of conversation on many sites and there are zero posts of his redeeming qualities. Ignore the poster you were replying to. He's been booted from pretty much every one for being a prevaricating, blowhard, BS dispenser.
