Had this cold a week and feel well and go out coyote hunting, blow on a few calls in a few spots, suck in a little 50 degree air and start dry cough again and feel worn out.

Took Hydrochloroquine and horse tube apple flavor Ivermectin several days and it didn't seem to do much good.
Nope.
I thought alcohol was a disinfectant?
Doc Rocket said to get 8 covid shots so I am fine.
Missed two days work this week. Felt like I'd been hit by a truck for four days straight. Bad cough and my head is all plugged up. Blew my nose this morning and my right ear wheezed and I about passed out, made me dizzy/nauseous.

My wife has had it going on three weeks. She's been to the doctor twice and they put her on antibiotics, Prednisone, cough pearls.
It has been around here too, went to doc last week

Alot of stuff going around.
The News however has said the flu cases were down .

It would be interesting to know what tbe Drs who delivered your kids were saying back then. whistle
Try a diet
Wife went into the assisted living facility here locally for one of her typical twice-monthly dietary visits, They pay her to evaluate the clients' nutritional needs, etc.

While she was there eleven long-term care patients tested positive for the Covid. So yeah, it's going around here in Idaho. We bumped up the D3/zinc around here.

Yeah, Broomd, I tripled up on the D3 to 30,000 IU a few days and doubled the Zinc sulfate, Turmeric, selenium, Oil of Oregano, Vit C.....

Didn't lose smell or taste but it didn't seem to help.

Had the ear schiett that Great Waputi described also. Hoping decongestants allow that schiett to drain without getting an inner ear infection. Those things can easily progress to meningitis and screw one up.
Whatever it is keeps hanging on. No fever. But headache, body ache like I’ve been beat with a baseball bat, weary, stuffy. Gimme a minute and I’ll think of some more. Been sick for a week and a half. Thought it was gone but oh no. But you know me I don’t complain.
You're ate up with the tardation jag. Praying for what's left of yer brain.
Had a bad sinus and plugged ears a couple weeks ago. Lasted about a week.

One guy at work, covtard, said he tested at lunch time and got 2 lines....whatever that means. I told the bitch he was pregnant and get back to work

Last time I had a bad cold I blew my nose, drank a big cup of black coffee grabbed some cough drops and went to work and toughed it out.

You sound like a covtard right now.
I'm an old man with asthma and have lost a good piece of one lung to a tumor.

I'm also a Dr. I said I didn't have loss of smell or taste. Maybe reread the initial post.

You sound like a dumbfughk to me.

Show us what a dumbass you are and tell the others who had it they sound like covtards too.

Try to learn something here, to pull off being a smart assed comedian, you first need to be smart.

Small point, but you realize this was your reply to jaguartx right?? laugh laugh laugh
I replied right after dumbfugk posted thinking most can figure it out.
Had a tickle in my throat a few days ago felt off but a few Busch lights that evening flushed it out
Nope not heard of anything going around special.

This time of year there is always something normal going on because of the wild temperature swings.
Not covid but some kind of head cold is going around. My grand kids have had it and the neighbor kids have it now.

kwg
Same chit here about 2 weeks ago
Some kind of crud, head plugged up, sore throat for 12 hours. Gets better, but if I do too much tries to come back. Mostly gone, but passed it on to the wife. Not the covid.
Going around here too. Flu/Cold with all the typical symptoms. I’ve been fighting it since last weekend and like others have said, the body aches have been over the top. Definitely feels like I’ve been hit by a Mack truck!
Been hacking and coughing.

Don't feel bad, still hitting workouts and working everyday.

It's just a headcold.

+1, ignore the morons, Jag.
Hope you're feeling better soon.
What most of you guys have/had is RSV. Is isn’t Covid, but you are in for about a three week stink. Forget the antibiotics because that “V” stands for virus and antibiotics won’t touch it. Over the counter decongestants like CF Robitussin if you can find it and lots of nose blowing is about all you can do. The wife and I both had it. Coricidin HBP made us too light headed for use in the daytime.

Same here last week but other than low energy I'm over it.

Going to work with a 102F fever wasn't fun. And bouncing over frozen cow turds in the pickup was torture.
It's a milder form of Covid. It is really going around in Colorado. I tested positive for it and so did my wife. We will never test again. It's stupid. I don't know what I was thinking. If you test and it's positive, you have to miss work. I don't need a test to tell me I'm sick.
Yep
Nope, but something was getting everybody back around Thanksgiving and early December.

I don't know how you could stand breathing cold air with it, Sam.

Being young and tough is nice.
Croup......nasty crap.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one... Started Wednesday with exhaustion and stuffy head, didn't sleep well that night, most of Thursday and Friday in bed, felt a little better yesterday, felt a little better today. Tired, aches and pains, kinda stuffy but not too bad...cough, but mainly from post nasal stuff, I think.
Youse guys just need to be like Jerkmountain and drank a cold beer.

Yall r sounding like Covtards ta me. smirk

Good fortune guys.

Thanks and God bless ya, Broomd. I'm like nearly all well after a week of that crap.
In my area it started around Thanksgiving. Wife and I both got it, wasn't bad like what we had last summer. Biggest problem for me is postnasal drip bought some otc Mucus Relief pills they helped. Went for my 3-month checkup last Monday told Dr. about the problem she said the otc meds were too strong, she called in a prescription for Loratadine 10 mg. been taking one every day since Wed. and they seem to be working good.
It's been a bad season for sickness around our house and among coworkers.

I'm starting to think that the strange knee pains I've been dealing with for 2 months is some lingering inflammation from being sick back in late November.
Pretty sure it’s RSV got me. Should I wear a mask to save the children, whales and polar bears ?
I've been fighting something since a few days before Christmas. Symptoms of sinus infection, bronchitis, and mild pneumonia. Negative for everything. Three rounds of antibiotics, two rounds of prednisone, two rounds of albuterol nebulizer treatments. Finally kicked the cough a few days ago, was coughing hard enough to make my eyes run and even to the point of puking once. Was hacking green globs out of my lungs in the morning for over a month. No fun.
Noy yet, Praise The Lord.
Talked to my neighbor this afternoon, he said him and his live in GF had the ?flu back in mid-December. Couldn't breathe, congested, hi-temp., weak, nauseous .
She left him during Christmas, no reason given.

His 15 year old athletic neice who was starting line-up girls basketball team, died in her sleep the night after getting a C-19 booster shot. Healthy, never any health issues whatsoever,, gone.
That sucks about the niece.

No reason healthy young adults should get that poison
Hell of a head cold. Had it for a few days, felt better for a couple days then it hit me hard. Had to go see the doc for antibiotics to kill sinus infection and steroid eye drops for goopy eyes. Still wake up coughing and hacking. 3 weeks now and still haven't totally kicked it. Several in family had/have same thing, still lingering with them also.
My son's been battling the suffy nose, cloudy head, bad sinus, drainage, etc for almost a month. Can't seem to kick it.
Yeah, I had it about 3 weeks ago. Went to doc, got a shot, and some antibiotics. Doing ok now.

Whatever it is, it is making the rounds here with negative Covid tests. Guy I work with had it 3-4 weeks back, then my daughter, then me, now my wife's coworkers. Like a bad head cold with the snots/cough, light fever and body aches. I had to take 12hr Mucinex and Sudafed for 10-12 days to get all the junk out of my sinuses. Dodged an infection though.
Oh you all have the flu.. well that is was what we called it back in 2019.. or sometimes a chest cold..

Are you an MD or DO? Or do you simply have a doctorate level degree?
I am an Optometric physician, Dr of Optometry, who diagnosed, prescribed and treated essentially all medically treatable eye diseases in a medical/surgical clinic with real prescription meds like real drs get to prescribe, such as steroids, nonsteroidals, antibiotics, antifungal agents, antiviral agents, glaucoma meds..... wink

And even filled out Govt forms as the physician in charge of patients in Govt care programs, did non surgical treatment of ocular injuries, penetrating foreign body injuries, treatments for ocular shingles.......

Primary eye health care. Nothing wrong with that. I like being able to see, although I do wish I could still see really well without glasses. That said, there is a tiny bit of difference between an optometrist and a MD. When someone says "I'm a doctor", they know full well that they are implying that they are a MD or DO. If I was an optometrist, I would simply say so.

I had the same symptoms around Christmas. Just getting over it now. Couldn't hear anything and coughing up greenies. Never took anything for it except mucinex so I could sleep a little better.
Optometric physicians are Drs. The MD pediatric surgeons, MD Retina Surgeons, DO Corneal Surgeons referred to me as Dr and the ER Drs in Hospitals from 50 miles around who called me on weeks I was on call for advice in treating ocular emergencies they weren't familiar with refer to me as Dr as do ALL the city MDs and DOs I deal with.

I took the same human pathology courses and pharmaceutical courses they took and often from the same Drs and Pharmacologists who taught them in Houston.

Is a Dentist a Dr? When I graduated as an OD I had more college hours of pharmacology than DDS guys.

I know and treat several heart specialists who don't do heart surgery and neurologists don't do brain surgery, so get out of the previous century and realize you don't know the full scope of the matter.

Have you any clue how many out of town mds I have instructed in treating one of their hospitalized patients with IV Pred to restore vision to and prevent blindness in events of optic neuropathies such as the earliest flares of multiple sclerosis?

Get a clue

God damn. Awful grumpy today for a guy who's favorite black guy won a Super Bowl last night.
You'll never tire of proving your stupidity. You have mouth, if no brains. You're the one who said you were too stupid to get a 4 year degree. Well, I got two 4 year degrees in 7 years dumbass. Try it some time. Show us how smart you really are.
