Chaparral perhaps? Or do you mean Dave Chappell?
Yes, I remember "The High Chaparral" tv show.

What about it?
I wish they would put westerns back on TV.
"We can fight Montoya, and we can fight the Apach; but we can't fight them both at the same time."
1. Westerns had good theme music back then.

2. I can't believe I responded.
Them was the good old days of TV before the started cramming all the gay and darkie cshit down our throats
One of my childhood favorites. Also, the Virginian, Branded, Gunsmoke, etc.
More folks need to be ridin' around in a conestoga waggon, need more buggy-whip makers what happened to them??

Good show, never could stand Uncle Buck though.

Barely recall that one.

The one I liked was a 1970s sheriff played by Glenn Ford. Don't recall the name, but the theme music will ride with me til my last breath

They are, all you want on INSP.
Went through the Wagon train series a while back and now am on the Gunsmoke series.

We really enjoy these old westerns from when we were kids!

I remember when Chappel was on TV. I thought he was high too.

I think that Linda Cristal was hot and I loved her accent.
High Chapparal was far and away my most favorite Western back in England. Playing in them coal smoky cobblestone back alleys I used to say “ain’t” rather than “isn’t” on purpose and I had a plastic ‘73 Winchester that went “pweeee” like a ricochet sound every time I pulled the trigger ( been missing ever since).

The episode I remember was when some gunfighter challenged Blue and Manuelito and Uncle Buck were telling him not to go and Blue asks them if they would do anything different.

I forget how it went but IIRC the bad guy was dressed in black and there was a lot of background music when it happened.

Dave Chappel actually said “the Second Amendment is in case the First one doesn’t work out.” He’s got my vote.
