Anybody at the campfire ever participate in an Appleseed Marksmanship Clinic weekend?

If so, would you agree with me in that it is a great program?

They’re great for both new and experienced shooters to learn finer points of rifle marksmanship. I’ve been hunting and shooting all my life and I learned a lot. Particularly, for me, an appreciation for the shooting sling. They are perfect for family events so everyone can improve their skills. My wife and I both earned our Rifleman patch at our first event, a pretty good achievement I believe. More information at the link below if you’re not familiar with it..,

... or, also known as "man-bun rocket surgery," only to be even attempted by highly trained specialists.

I attended for a weekend here in California several years ago. It is an excellent program. I plan to take my grandson.
Thanks for the responses guys!

I’m happy to be able to say both a Garand shooter and a Rocket Scientist sees the value of good old marksmanship skills. The true meaning of “well regulated” in the 2A! Good stuff!

I do believe it is an excellent program.

Not everyone can make it to Gunsite Academy or Thunder Ranch. But there’s an Appleseed event near just about everyone.
