Took my car to the local car show today. Left the truck at home, didn't want to deal with two vehicles. Wonderful day everybody is very nice and polite till right before the conclusion when these "hispanic" boys were slobbering all over my car. Finally they left or so I thought.
I turn around and look at my car and one of them has opened the door and was sitting in the drivers seat. My son had already seen them and was headed over.
I then lost my temper. I screamed at him to get his f'nn ass out of my car as I got out of my chair and headed to my car. He just stares at me with a stupid look while his silent compadre also stood there. I tell him one more time to get his f'nn ass out of my car. He then complies. But just stands there.
I then tell both of them to get the hell out of here. they move a little ways a way. But I'm so angry that is not good enough for me. I told them again to get the hell out of here, that I mean you need to leave this area.
They sorta milled about and I then said don't you understand English? The one that had got in my car then says "I can speak English better than you" as he's backing away

I made a big mistake with my situational awareness. The silent one kept putting himself between me and the talking punk. And my worse error I didn't notice he was packing a pistol and that they were tanked up on something because their eyes were pinned out.
My son was the one who notice and told me later.
When I left the car show I made double damn sure no body followed me home.
Ruined my day. I got so angry that I feel terrible.
There's a real possibility these may have been more than just ill mannered punks, especially since one was healed for sure.
I'd be putting up trail or security cameras to hit the road behind where you park and see if a strange vehicle keeps passing by.
Make sure you clue your wife in to carry a pistol and have it handy for use and not tucked away in a purse when driving and to make sure she's looking around while sitting at red lights.
Don't touch any paper or hanky stuck under a windshield or in a car door handle when going to the car.
Don't get out of the car and leave the door open or car running if you hear a bump in the back after getting in.
Look up and down the road for any suspicious vehicle sitting nearby on the street when you stick your head out the door.
I'd discuss it with a local officer.

Yes, had that happen @ the local sporting clays course. Dude sat on my front bumper between rounds, then sat down to do it again after another round. No you’re not, you are defending the Mexican kids because you are probably Mexican yourself. So you see it as your job to defend/protect them even though you know what they did was wrong. You are the one who wants to “fix it.” Rescuing is an addiction that comes from an unconscious need to feel valued. There’s no better way to feel important than to be a savior! Taking care of others may be the Rescuers best game plan for getting to feel worthwhile, in your case rescuing those Mexican kids. People like you usually grow up in families where their dependency needs are not acknowledged. It’s a psychological fact that we treat ourselves the way we were treated as children. The budding Rescuer grows up in an environment where their needs are negated and so tend to treat themselves with the same degree of negligence that they experienced as children. Without permission to take care of themselves, their needs go underground and they turn instead to taking care of others.

Apropos of not much at all, I’ve met some really cool people from Laredo, Eagle Pass and El Paso too. Amid all the chaos there’s some really strong families been there for generations.

I understand your concerns because the behavior exhibited by a lot of people today is so outside the realm of decency and etiquette that a normal person can only conclude their actions are intentional and that there is a deeper motive.

Just mindless fugking idiots that wouldn't know north from south wandering the earth. They also probably don't even know WTF a Trans Am is.
Walking through a parking garage I ran into two acquaintances a few months back and they were leaning on a truck going over paperwork. After our conversation concluded they packed their schit up and returned to their respective vehicles. It took a second but I realized these two fugking idiots were using a total stranger's pickup (a brand new Chevy) as an impromptu coffee table. I told them both they were going to get themselves fugking shot if they run into the wrong people. They conceded my point but at the end of the day they still used a total stranger's hood for the better part of 30 minutes without thinking anything of it until I said something.

Now, enough about the confrontation. What a beautiful car you have. Love the early to mid 70's T/A's and Firebirds. Was that Navy blue a factory color offered in 75'? If so, that's pretty rare I would assume? Don't recall ever seeing one. My favorite T/A of all time is the 73' SD-455. Although, the 70' with a Ram Air IV is a close second. I had a Brewster Green 75' Formula 400 my freshman year of college. Loved that car. Sold it though before sophomore year for something a bit more economical..an 88' LX 5.0. Ha!
Quick T/A story, back in 1990, one of my good buds had an 89' 20th Anniversary T/A, the one with the Buick Grand National motor. He added a chip, k&n filter and I think an adjustable boost. It would run 12.40's in the 1/4 on stock Gatorbacks. Crazy fast for that period. Anyway, during that time, the street racing scene was raging on Westheimer Ave in Houston. Can't tell you how many people he absolutely destroyed/embarrassed with that car. Was funny because very few people knew what the car was. Everyone just figured it was a typical 5.7 V-8 GTA T/A. Good times.
