I’m sure it was my paternal Grandmother. Mom had picked out the name “Jody” if I was a boy. They argued about it for a while, and when I popped out, The Old Man went with Grandma.
Last I heard there were 17 of us with the name. Nine men and eight ladies.
A lady named Reon contacted me some time ago, wondering how it came about.
She had done the research. and contacted all the hits.
The only question I have is where Grandma got the name. She said she had a teacher named Reon Taylor who she really admired.
Dad said that Reon was an old boyfriend that she had before my granddad came along!
I don’t have many schits to give.
I like the name, and I know there ain’t many of us around.
We’re few and far between! Damn near a collectors item!
