Usually don't start these music threads, just usually add my $.02.

However I've had a couple brewski's and am feeling so inclined after the "Clapton is God" thread, and rather than step on that thread,

What are some selections that you listen to at Max Volume........

Quien Sabe,

GWB
If only obviously.

Hard not too on this one.

This one always gets turned TF up!

The stereo never seems to go loud enough for this one! LOL

Just a great sounding album, and THE scream! Wowzers!
For all the guys that missed some of the best music of the real rock era, volume up for the intro…

Great stuff.

One of the first two tapes I bought for that first 8-track in '70 was Steppenwolf Live.
This whole album gets turned up.

Later AC/DC track that flat kills!

Graham Parker

Discovering Japan

Wooly Bully, Sam the Sham & the Pharaohs... Long Cool Woman, the Hollies... Polk salad Annie, Tony jo White???... The night they drove ol Dixie down, The Band or Joan... Gold Dust Woman, Fleetwood Mac/Stevie... (just to name a few)
Graham Parker

Discovering Japan

Iconic riff that is undeniably baddass. In the day when we partied and attended dances with booked bands, this was the song we all wanted to hear…

And the best of the best:

Just Wow!

Thanx,

GWB

It does not get any better than that.

I'll crank the volume knob for this. Ah, Hell, Shrap beat me to Smoke. I'll substitute the Doobies.

and in a different vein: this

And, of course, The Eagles
The Long Run, Witchy Woman, Life in the Fast Lane, Lyin Eyes, Take it Easy, Peaceful Easy Feeling, and

While the lyrics of this song make little sense. It does have an interesting tone and I like Cornell's voice. I do enjoy a few of their other songs.

The Who and cranked just go together!

Can't agree on Rage. That's an instant channel changer for me.
Anything Boston!

Full volume - there's a lot but some:

This version

Occasionally

I even like Elmore at unreasonable volumes

Awe hell! All good Rock & Roll should be cranked!!
The Who, "The Real Me" have the volume up before it starts!

Most anything Led Zeppelin, lot of The Stones, Won’t get fooled again, and others. Great rock needs decibels.
A new one to add to the list; Mick bringing it at 80
I remember playing this at max in my youth.

Can’t believe this hasn’t been posted yet.

Or this one.

Right now I'm listening to this, sound turned up to 11:

It's been some years but it was The End.
The night after my mother passed back in August this one came on my Pandora feed.
I had never heard JJ do it before.
Had to pull the truck over due to allergies popping up.
Called the Minister doing the service and had him add it to the service.
I have played it with intent a few times since at max volume when alone.

Among the wrong answers posted here, this isn't one of those...

Hey man,if you dig riding your scoot. You got to bury the volume when you hear this .
Another volume maxer
You guys put up a LOT of good, old songs here. Give "Leavin' Again" by Savoy Brown a listen. It's a good one.
If you don`t dig this, your dead.
A few, with a high watt amp multi channel setup to get the full effect

Lead Zepplin
Whole Lot of Love when they roll the channels around and around

Nazareth
Changing Times

Deep Purple
Kentucky Woman

Iron Maiden
Fear of the Dark The Rio concert with 500,000

Yardbirds
For Your Love with Jeff & Jimmy playing together the induction where the three lead gituar players came and played together Eric, Jeff and Jimmy

Tom Petty and the Heart breakers
Running Down a Dream

A little band from FL
Free Bird

Listened to far too many at max volume and have the hearing aids to prove it.
I've always run max tone & neutral bass on a simple unit.

With that, ZZ Top Blue jean Blues.

There are some GREAT tunes in this thread!

If your bladder can go a tank of gas, we could get along on a road trip
Aldo Nova...Fantasy, at least the first minute of it.

A lot of Dire Straits music. Money for nothing being the most obvious
How about:

"Ride of the Valkyries" by Wagner

"1812 Overture" by Tchaikovsky

I love rolling down the windows and cranking up one of these when I'm waiting at a red light and some 'boon is next to me blasting his (c)rap music.
Born to run by Bruce Springsteen.
A relatively recent one.
OLD FUQK WARNING:

Lots of stuff I like here! Some, not so much, but that's my problem.

Pretty much anything Uriah Heep, Iggy Pop and the Stuges, Metalica, and then even some Earth Wind and Fire. Journey has a few, Deep Purple, Molly Hatchet, some of the way back BeeGees stuff, but it has to be the old early stuff, before the idiot that killed himself. Black Sabath has a place, as does Alice Cooper.. Larry Norman for some hard core Christian rock. On a road trip, I listen to everything but Country, just never got into that. Growing up, mom and dad were Waltz and Polka fiends! Lol! Lots of miles in a car listening to that stuff as a kid!

Guess it depends on my mood!
Can’t believe gone 8 pages without Sweet Home Alabama or Country Boy Can Survive
Inspirational &/or aggregable to me plus some great music.

Anything old by Metallica, but I will go with Disposable Heroes.
Slayer, War Ensemble
Guns N Roses, Paradise City
"Radar Love" by Golden Earring.
ZZ Top, Mexican Blackbird.
Had to jump to the last page...couldn't take any more!

Other than Jimi, Zeppelin, Grand Funk and a couple of others....the 50 year old music choices you guys posted assures me most of you...missed out on your era's music, but you love modern WOOT DOOT !

Get up extra early and don't use Mama's laptop if you want to respond...
Money Talks AC/DC
The whole album
