Hope shot this deer of a lifetime Tuesday (green scored a little over 180", with 13 scorable pts). Shot was at 230 yds, she held a little high, but he only made it 20 yds. Not bad for a cancer survivor! 7mm-08 Tikka T-3X SL with a McMillan stock, Trijicon 3-9 Accupoint scope120 gr Nosler BTs handloads, at a little over 3000 fps.

Outstanding on the surviving cancer! Fabulous on the shot and deer!

Congrats on the deer but, most importantly, congrats on whipping cancer!

She shot the buck as it was walking rapidly (with a purpose) through a narrow strip of open bottom ground that runs along a (mostly dry right now) creek edge. He was dead deer running for that 20 yds straight into the creek. She thought it would be a good spot to take the pics right where he went down.


Yeah, could have worded that a little differently. I kinda doubt she'd be too interested in the bonus wife thing.
