Jim;
Good evening and thanks for the family photos.
I'll not make this a long post, but I believe having a direct, hands on connection with our food is more important than we know.
So great to see it, especially with the next shift and entire family involved.
Wonderful stuff there sir.
All the best to you all.
Dwayne

Agreed brother.... leftwing snowflakes thinks it comes from the grocery store.... we know better and take the responsibility for our own sustenance!
Helps a person respect life and food.
Congrats Jim to you and the boys!!
That's a pretty good stack of meat from that deer. Nice.
Awesome family activity being had there!
Also, I am 1000% in support of your kid's beginner mullet. I am not kidding, I am not making fun of him, or you or your family, I am absolutely serious. We all like to forget, Joe Dirt ended up with that hot chick Brandy, due in large part to his mullet. Super cool!!!!!!
Keep it up man!
ETA: Looks like a Savage rifle, if so you are starting him off on the mountain of right, when so many occupy the valley of wrong.
Great family pics, Jim.
Living the Good Life.
Jim, you're bringing them up right.
No need to worry about them straying or hanging with the wrong crowd as they grow.
Be proud of them and proud of yourself for being a fine dad.
Living the dream. Nice looking family, with solid raising. Brings a smile!
Be careful Jimmyโฆ. You may be accused of wanting a free knife sharpener or ziplock baggies ๐๐ป
Nice Family, and looks like some real good eatin' right there.
Love threads like this. Good stuff Jim.
Yes, great thread. The Fire could use more positive content like this.
Great post, congrats to the whole family
Thanks for sharing your story
Yep! Thatโs pretty much how we do it too. Good pics. Have two on ice to cut up today.
If I was there I coulda learned how it was done.
Good for you dad, nice job lads and lady
You and your wife are starting those youngun's out in life correctly, Jim.
Keep up the good work - we need more starting out like that!
Congratulations!
Jim this entire country could use a reality check just like that, and doing it as a family is sugar on top.
Great looking happy family.
That dear looks a bit lean or is it just the views?
Osky
Great post. Enjoy them while you got em. They grow up fast.
Be careful Jimmyโฆ. You may be accused of wanting a free knife sharpener or ziplock baggies ๐๐ป
Hell nah, he's angling for a pro quality vacuum packer. I bet he's even got a gofundme already waiting in the wings...
Great post, the world needs more of this.
Excellent job Jim. I was about your kids' age when my Dad started having me help butcher deer. I started my kids at that same age. Butchering is a good, valuable life skill.
Great post. Looks like your family is doing everything right. Made me smile this morning to know there are still normal families doing normal things. Congratulations. ๐๐
Turning a deer into food. Love it. ๐
Ya ya youngsters cuttin' up critters, Ok, its cool and all.....but

Very well done Conrad family
Excellent work, photo for the picture album !!
I always felt like it was โmoney in the bankโ when it was all sealed and headed to the freezer ๐
Shed full of firewood, freezer full of meat
Baby weโre gonna make it!! ๐
Jimโฆโฆyouโre doing it right! Your kids will do real good in the real world! I salute You and Your Wife. ๐ memtb
Thanks, Jim. Speaks volumes. Wonderful feeling.
It's said that the word awesome is overused. But not in this case.
Simply awesome. Nobody frowning or begrudging the work, just doin it, likely with pleasure. And the final pic seals the deal. Heart warming.
Doesn't get much better than that. Nice to see the smile on the shooters face. That's a proud smile right there GWPGUY ๐พ๐ฃ๐จ๐ฆ

To me, thatโs some of the best quality family time a guy could have!
Great pics Jim. That looks like some quality time together.
Doesn't get any better than this.
Outstanding finish to the hunt. You and Mom are doing a great job.
Per the usual, you're doing it right, Jim. Those boys will remember that experience long after those vittles are gone.
Jim,
I admire you and your wife raising those kids in this manner. We did the same, and it stuck! So will yours. Outstanding!
Knew about the kill thread, don't know how I missed this 1 !
Right on Conrads !!!!
