This wasn’t some camp, that’s their kitchen.

Maybe you had to be there, darn near choked when I
turned around and saw that.

Are we related?
Posted By: smokepole Re: My Dad - 12/21/23
Classic. The only thing more classic would be if he was scratching his balls.

I don't see a thing wrong!

If somehow this is immodest or unacceptable you'd be in shock around my place.
Posted By: FatCity67 Re: My Dad - 12/21/23
I'm not seeing the issue.
Posted By: xarcher Re: My Dad - 12/21/23
His house. His kitchen. His bottle. And his give a crap meter has no batteries.
Posted By: P_Weed Re: My Dad - 12/21/23
He's wearing his high water pants.

Model citizen.

Nice. Made me go mix a Bloody Mary.
Posted By: Dillonbuck Re: My Dad - 12/21/23
Old fashioned Long John's, and a Coke.

Too those trying to read something into it,
you have my sympathy.

If you can't look at that No Ass Guy,
Wearing 1950s Long Underwear,
and slippers,
and not laugh...you have no sense of humor.

It's certainly modest enough for his house, or at a camp.

It's just a funny picture.

My daughters were there, and the oldest have me heck for taking the Pic.
Thought was picking on him.

Then I found out she had taken one and sent it to my wife!

Mooner, knowing him only makes it better!
Posted By: CrowRifle Re: My Dad - 12/21/23
At least he is still with you. Hug him. Tell him you love him. Everyday.
Posted By: Rooster7 Re: My Dad - 12/21/23

Something tells me he's earned how to dress however he wants. smile

Cherish the moment! I lost my father and 55 year long hunting and fishing partner a couple of years ago and still miss him everyday!
Posted By: blindshooter Re: My Dad - 12/21/23
DB, great pic!

Mine's gone now, this was taken about 4 years before he passed. Mechanical heart valve/cumadin nearly turned his skin black.

He was a tough one.

My Dad drowned on Wabigoon lake on 19 Aug 64 off a point on Christie Island. It was a Sunday afternoon about the o'clock. That's way I'm such a sticker on wearing a PFD

You can hit a floater while underway and get
thrown overboard and hit your head, or some
pinhead on a PWC can broadside you at speed
before you can react. If you're semi-conscious
from some boating mishap and are wrapped
with floaty stuff, you'll praise God almighty
for the foresight of wearing a PFD if you recover.
Only took me one bad storm out in the G.O.M.
for me to buy the best PFD I could find at
the time

We have three Mustang floaters at the cabin.

Yep, that’s me in 20 years except I’ll be wearing flip flops and it’ll be a bottle of Beam.

Was trying to line up a pig hunt for us, it kinda fell apart.
Next month I'm booking for 2025. I never plan ahead.
Planning this ahead.

Reminds me of The Old Man!
Talking to him, he was Dad, but in the third person he was always referred to as “The Old Man”.
An earned title in our family.
“The Old Man” taught you everything you oughtta know, and served as your #1 role model.
I miss him every day, but there ain’t a day that I don’t thank God for him.
