Happy Birthday Vincent Fernier. I almost bought those same pants.

Got to see Alice live back about 1969.
I think he is a preachers kid.
Always remember a quote of his "why would you take advice from someone who sleeps all day and parties all night"

I share a birthday with Alice Cooper, Charles Lindbergh & Dan Quayle.

Obviously 2 of those are quite a lot better than the last.

Alice Cooper used to have an incredible radio show. Love that dude.

Never appealed to me as a kid.

Have enjoyed occasionally listening to his show as an adult and his comments on music, the "industry", and life in general.

Supposedly "bright" as a kid in school. The environment of the times took him in his own unique direction to where he is now. Many of his lyrics seem very personal; I am not sure whether he was that much a musician as many "rockers" have been. Interesting to get Ozzy, Alice, and Marilyn in the same room and see where the conversation went...

Good golfer??? I certainly don't relate to that one!

Happy Birthday sir! You have grown on me with age, despite the outfit/"act".

Saw him in Toledo with Motley Crew
Alice put on one hell of a show.

I was working one Saturday when I got a text from my kid. It was a picture of him and Alice at Hooters in Bay City. Alice was in town (Saginaw) for a charity softball game, the kid ran into him at Hooters. My son's name is Steven, he told Alice that when he was little and being a schidt I'd turn on the stereo and play Alice's "Steven" to irritate the little brat.
Alice a homo, you've never seen pictures of his wife. 😜

Marilyn doesn't belong in that room. Let alone zip code.

I love the story of him and Glen Campbell getting pulled over by a cop for speeding. They were good buddies and golfed together. The cop's mind was blown just seeing them in the same car. I think he let them go. I can only imagine the look on his face.

His tune “Poison” always reminded me of a gal I knew when I was a teenager. She wore “Poison” perfume. But that’s another story….

Alice did about a 45 minute interview after Glen Campbell’s death that was really interesting.

Always seemed like a good dude that would be a ball to golf with.

A group of us saw him in Biloxi around 1986 .
He did the Guillotine trick- he kneeled and put his head over the thing- down drops the blade- off came his head. Heck of a trick- i have no idea how it was done.
He does an evening radio show here- talks about the old days of rockNroll.
He goes to church and has been married to the same woman for decades. He preaches honesty and faithfulness to family-friends-wife etc..
He took a call from a guy with drug and alcohol problems- his simple advice- Sunday go to church and listen. He told him his problems won't go away overnight- get new friends who aren't doing drugs and drinking too much.

I'm not a huge fan- he's just a smart guy who mixed music and theatrics and made millions of dollars.

2-3 different internet sites say his net worth is $50+ million dollars

Saw him in London September of '75. He did "only women bleed" He was in bed hugging a woman when all of a sudden he grabs her by the throat and throws her half way across the stage. He gets out of bed, walks over to her, bends down to caress her and the woman sits up and hugs him. The switch between the manikin and the woman was impossible to see.

If that is the Hooter's on the river by the bridge, I brought my uptight female boss there when I was a young corporate lad with the Tri's as part of my territory. She wanted seafood and they used to have a pretty good grouper sammy or so I'm told. wink I probably should've thought that one through a little better.

Alice is a pretty damn good stick for his age too. Like a 4 handicap. Pretty much traded being an alcoholic for a golf addiction. Plays damn near every day in AZ. Detroit boy made good. And now he's legend.

Anyone who didn't crank "18" or "Schools Out" out of their 6 X 9s in high school is FOS or a homo.

Yup, that would be the one... 😁
And looking at the band members for the tour in '75 the woman who danced in the show with Alice was his future wife...

he was in my hometown a few months ago, ended up going into the cracker barrel for dinner - by himself.

A friend of mine from high school saw and invited him to have dinner with him and he accepted.

I don't know much about him but seems like he's down to earth now.
