Throughout life I’ve witnessed a handful of couples that were 2 peas in a pod. About 30 years ago I lived in Yakima Washington for about a year. I was working on a job and while having lunch with a few strangers the topic of relationships came up. This one guy said his first wife was a nightmare . They fought all the time. This guy re married and tells me after 5 years of marriage , he could not wait to get home to see his wife. He said they were still on their Honeymoon. I’ll never forget it. Your thoughts?
48 years next week. It ain't all wine and roses.Few thorns on the way.
as long as the knee and shoulder joints are doing good we get after it damn near every night like 20 something Honeymooners. and we're a long ways from 20 and been married 25 years...
19 yrs hell yeah
On our honeymoon, my wife killed a bigger ram than any I've taken.

That pissed me right off! smile. 45 years....or is it 46?
About once a week.
Yes, at slower pace. The Buquet from our 50th.[Linked Image from i.imgur.com]
Great 'till menopause, then things dried up. Now it's just hall sex
Coming up on 52 years. She hasn’t shot me yet.

Our two college aged granddaughters got a kick out of seeing us holding hands walking across the restaurant parking lot. “So cute”, they said.
Roy Clarck, Honeymoon Fealing?
First wife? Not so much towards the end. She had cancer and she felt like sheit. It made her meaner than <pick your meanest metaphor>.

Second wife? For the most part, yes. The most part is life and the kids get in the way of the honeymoon part. I do try to not piss her off though. She's a better shot than most men are.
I lost my 1st wife to cancer after 33 years. Then I met and married another one. 15 years now. Both were as described above. 48 years of honeymooning.
Lost mine last valentines day to cancer after 49+ plus years of a very good marriage.

Wonder how the better half would respond to the OPs question.

I still think the world of her, but we aren’t teenagers anymore.

Nothing worse than a bad woman. Nothing better than a good woman. Sounds like you hit the lottery!
Marry a good woman and its all Honeymoon. Glad I did. Marry a bitch, and Hell on Earth comes to mind.
Alan c: "Officially" our honeymoon began and was over more than a half century ago - but we are still in love and are best buds and travel mates.
Hold into the wind

We are still on our honeymoon.

I'm curious though why all the relevance to sex. Sex is but a tiny part of the marriage.
We're at 56 years this coming June. Still in love.

I'm only at 32 years, but well said nonetheless.
My parents were married for 58 years. If they stopped fighting, someone was sick.

My wife and I have been married for 47 years and we have never fought.
Will be 50 years later this summer. She ain't shot me yet.
No. But we're still frank with each other.
Falling out of love with mine, I think. I dont know how much longer I have on this earth and she wants to waste my time by starting stupid arguments over dumb shìt.
Yup, 49 this summer.
29 years in less than a month... there has never been one single time in our marriage that I did not want to see my wife when I got home... When I had to travel, I just wanted to be home most of the time with her. We do not argue, we like the majority of the same stuff, she is a great helper and all around wonderful person... I a very blessed...
