The GT 40 was originally right side steering since the car came from England. The GT40 Ken Miles drove at Le Mans was right side steering.
True but from what I've read, it was more a design pt. for European tracks which ran mostly clockwise, keeping the driver on the "inside" of the car during most of the cornering.
GT 40 is still an awesome care, even more so when you realize it's been doing this for nearly 60 years. 212 mph heading into Mulsanne's corner in 1967.
