On the Ralph Emery show just before his autobiography hit the stands.

Helluva singer, and he helped make Country Music into what we all loved until they killed it.
Thought some others would like to watch it.

Greatest country singer, if not the greatest singer of all time. A true American Icon.
Good old country juke box music.
Damn good dude and one hell of a singer!! I met him a couple of time out here in AZ where his wife was from. He is buried in the Mesa AZ cemetery.
Great music, but he was a drug addled azzhole.

Most musicians are

Mike Judges “tales from the tour bus” is a hoot

🎶Just a good ‘ol boy….🎶
I read about this in his book, but the animation story is cool!
There’s nothing I love more than hearing Waylon and Jesse singing harmonies together!
I have never done any drugs at all other than smoking pot 3 or 4 times when I was already drunk. I can’t support anyone doing coke or pills.
But I can love the man and the music in spite of it. Same goes for Johnny or George or anybody else.
The songs and the memories are what’s important, and that’s where my focus lies.

been listening to Waylon a bit lately

I think my favorite song of his is Women Do Know How to Carry On

also, like The Conversation with Hank Williams Jr
