...The Trojan Horse Tulsi Gabbard.

This guy echoes what many here on The Fire have said about Tulsi, plus a lot more.

Tulsi Gabbard’s recent takedowns of the Democrat Party sounds well and good. But what is she really up to? This is a woman who ran for President as a Democrat; she has pushed for “assault weapons” bans, universal basic income, Medicare for all, free college tuition, and abortion with very few limits. Tulsi Gabbard even supported a federal $15 minimum wage. This is not a woman we want anywhere near President Trump of the Office of the Vice Presidency.

Tulsi Gabbard is a Trojan Horse. She may be an unwitting Trojan Horse, but still a Trojan Horse at that. I will show you proof from recent interviews that she has not changed her position on important issues like gun rights. Just because Tulsi doesn’t support endless wars or endless funding of Ukraine does not make her a Conservative. Fox has embraced her, that should tell you all you need to know.

This podcast is for anyone who thinks Tulsi Gabbard would make a great running mate for Donald J. Trump. She would not!

Let's pray Trump isn't one of them.
Impossible.
Her and TRH's hero Bill Mahre are GTG.

They said so.

She was for Bernie last time. If that doesn't offer a clue as to where she stands.

She works for Fox. All you need to know.
Posted By: KFWA Re: The Real Tulsi Gabbard... - 02/26/24
I never really felt Trump's consideration of her was because she was a changed person on her core positions, it was because she would take away votes from Biden people are fed up with inflation, war and immigration - with the implied promise that one of their own would be in a position to take the white house in 4 years.

don't like that logic and I don't think Trump would ultimately choose her but I would think that is why her name is out there.

So was Joe Rogan but when I brought that up I was quickly dismissed.

On the flip side making such and obvious bad move, might piss off more Trump supporters that could out way the increase in fence sitter votes

maybe, but I don't think the hard core MAGA would not vote for Trump and they'd certainly not flip and vote for Biden. They're locked in come hell or high water. Gabbard, who would talk a big game, would not move the needle for them to change.

but the RINOs would have a much harder decision, Gabbard might bring them to the table - not many of them, but at least some of them. Would Kennedy dems vote for Trump/Gabbard?

I guess the whole approach would be to skim a few from all the different profiles that were against a straight Maga ticket but hate the idea of Biden

A cock block.
Stinchfield is absolutely correct.

Trump haters are NOT going to change their minds because Gabbard's on the ticket with him. I think he'll win a fair election going away and pretty much regardless of who's on the ticket with him, and we do need someone who might actually be able to perform the duties of the office should the need arise. Gabbard's lack of experience should be plenty of reason to skip over her and especially when there are so many choices with less suspect conservative credentials available.

Maybe, just MAYBE over time she'll actually embrace conservatism. That's certainly possible, but it sure as hell has not been demonstrated that she has yet. There's far more evidence that she has NOT than evidence that she has at this time.
Posted By: Calvin Re: The Real Tulsi Gabbard... - 02/27/24
I watched the whole thing. I was expecting more evidence other than the 2020 debates when she was a democrat. Shocking, Tulsi was a democrat saying democrat things while running for the democrat nomination.

Ribka’s head will explode at the 24 minute mark.

Doubt she will be VP. But if she is, I will support Trump’s decision. At least we know we won’t get into any regime change wars with her.

I think UN ambassador is a fitting role for her. If she stands the test if time she might have a future.

You got to admit, it’s great to see an x democrat, badmouthing democrats.

I am a little bit disappointed though. I watched your 28 minute video expecting some sort of new, bombshell information and lo and behold, he basically told us that Tulsi was a democrat in 2020. Was that new information to you?

steve,

Any suggested solutions?
I think of her as one of the old "good" (by today's standards) Democrats.

Misguided, loving every social progranpm, wanting to give away the bank.

Bleeding heart, no brain.

BUT, not intentionally TRYING to destroy our country.
Just doing it through unintended consequences.

Just because she’s not totally a leftist on some issues doesn’t mean she should be in the conversation for VP. I hope Trump is just playing the narratives and wouldn’t actually consider her!

I'm as guilty as anyone of changing over time. I don't believe she's the safest choice due to her past.....but at least she didn't try to hide it like the rinos.

I found this interview to be quite interesting....and she is easy to look at.

Are you suggesting that anyone who doesn't buy "The New Gabbard" would vote Dim if she's on the ticket with Trump? That's quite a leap. Of course, there ARE the knotheads who won't vote for anyone at all unless the candidate is as *perfect as they are.*

Tulsi took Camilla apart.

I’ll take her at her word that she had a change of heart on the 2nd. Frankly, I would expect that any rational and intelligent person who was not afraid to think and draw conclusions from what they have witnessed over the last half decade would. And I’m not surprised nor offended by her previous stance on the issue as that being born and raised in Hawaii left her with a natural predisposition against firearms. They have no tradition of firearms ownership and have been heavily anti-2A forever.

And I don’t demand intellectual purity from my politicians. I don’t have to agree with their personL ideas. I simply ask that they follow the Constitution without constant agitation for change.

I think so. She certainly believes in it. Her ideas about it might not be exactly the same as mine but she believes in it and believes it should be a restraining force on her actions and those of the government. Name one politician in Washington right now outside of a few in Congress who you could say the same about.

What many people don’t understand about Trump’s past donating to Democrats, he also donated to Republicans, Ronald Reagan for example.

As a builder, a builder having to deal with Democrats and Union bosses, he had to Pay-to-Play. If he didn’t offer them bribes in the form of political contributions, he would have been denied the appropriate permits, etc.

It was and is “The cost of doing Business”

I went to high school with a guy that owns one of the largest Industrial/Commercial Contracting companies in MN.

He is a Yuge supporter of Trump and the Republican Party, yet he donates to Democrats on a regular basis, has photo shoots with Democrats, etc. when I give him schit about it he says “If I don’t pay these bastards and play nice with them, I am out of business”. He keeps his mouth shut when it comes to supporting Republicans, especially Trump. It’s just the way it is.

Hardly any I agree. I cant give my trust so easily to these pukes anymore. Thats just me, but look at the situation we are currently in by giving this trust to people that shove an "R" by their name. Reasons why I will never vote the lesser of two evils anymore. Have done it in the past, will not ever again. I dont require a politician to line up with me perfectly on every single thing, but there is some things that I do require that. The constitution is a big one.

I get that. Those really werent the reasons I had issue with him 10 years ago. Trump was not considered anything close to a republican, right winger type. Hey, I dont agree with him on everything now, but Ive seen enough of his policies in play and he has my full support. Even though I didnt love the guy 10 years ago, I still voted for him in 16. Obviously in 20 and will again this year no matter what!

All I can judge is by listening to her. She has gone on more long form podcasts than just about anyone out there. If you want to be cynical and say it’s a ploy, you might be right. But she had done just about every show you can where she sits down for up to three hours and just talks. She doesn’t talk in sound bites and she doesn’t appear to be rehearsed. I am much more likely to believe someone who will do that than I am someone who sits down for a heavily edited traditional interview or makes appearances on cable news shows.

Back to the Gabbard thing, look how many turn coats are on the left. Almost ZERO! Now do the right. The dems do not vote people in office that have a wishy washy past. They vote hardcore left through and through. I despise them, but they know how to kick the chit out of our side when it comes to politics. We need real, hardcore republicans to push through our agenda. Not these moderate, rino f ucks. Look how well the Graham, mcconnell, mccain, bush types have done for us

You could be right. I just cant give that trust, yet
You fellas are responding as if there is some kind of mandate that the VP pick has to be a woman or a POC...an idea, that as far as I am concerned is right out of the woke Democrat playbook requirements. If there was ever a disastrous example of sex and color over ability...I can show you some Supreme court justices that illustrate my point. Sotomayor...ignore the law. Brown...can't understand the law. Kagan...make your own law.
Honest question...why play that game? Can anyone make a forceful argument that we MUST have a woman or POC to reach 270 electors?
Pence was shoved onto Trumps ticket last time by the RNC and by extension their war chest...surely Trump has learned that lesson.

Well?

Are you suggesting that anyone who doesn't buy "The New Gabbard" would vote Dim if she's on the ticket with Trump? That's quite a leap. Of course, there ARE the knotheads who won't vote for anyone at all unless the candidate is as *perfect as they are.*

"If I don't get exactly what I want then fcuk everyone else."

The pure blood true patriot motto. They're saving the country one link at a time.

Most these guys haven’t taken the time to listen to the podcasts etc. They pretty much let the gateway pundit do the thinking for them and they regurgitate the same sound bites over and over again.

Gabbard has a new book coming out. Doesn’t look like she is a democrat Trojan horse. We can’t keep pushing other demographics out of the R party because they used to be democrats. The whole idea is to welcome them and and keep adding to our numbers.

I say UN ambassador.

I’ve listened and I don’t trust her. Not to be veep or cabinet position anyway. Are there worse picks? Sure. But she’s not a good one.

Learn from the Gateway Pundit? That's like learning from Q and the Huffington Post.
Considering them combined produced an interesting interruption in the brainwaves here.
It's easy for a politician to say he/she believes in the Second Amendment. FJB has said it often enough, but what he does NOT say is "...the way I interpret it." And we know all about that.

Exactly. Ive listened to more than enough of her. I still dont trust her. She needs to come on board and take some low level positions and put the work and time in. We will then see. People on this bord are just as responsible for the mess we are in as the dems it seems. Just throw your support behind the new flashy object. Who gives a chit if they were once a hardcore dem. Just take these slimy politicians at their words and throw votes right at em

She has years of proving her change before I'll trust her.

Good, so what’s your point
Remember.......we have a UNIPARTY!
Jan. 6 is all the proof you need.
Them boys are STILL locked up!
Can't see that? YOU are part of the PROBLEM!!

Only two I would consider for VP........
Noem or S. Huckabee, neither of which might accept the offer.

All in for President Trump, while I watch for Republican/Democrat interference.
Fully expect a S--tshow!

I don't care who Trump picks for VP. I'm not voting for his opponent. What about you?

I have answered that several times here on The Fire
Only person that I have absolutely ruled out is Nikki Haley. If Her name is anywhere in a box, it will get no check mark from me. miles

Trumps a smart man. We all keep reading about potential vp picks, Im confident he will make the choice a good one. That said, I agree with miles, if nikki is on that ballot, I will NOT vote! Pence can piss off to hell as well, but I know neither one of them will be on that ticket, so we are good to go

Never entered my mind that He would be on a ballot that I was looking at, again, ever. miles

I’m with Hastings. Im voting for the top of the ticket which is Trump and hope he makes a good choice for the VP slot.

Cept for when he supported the AW Ban if 1994.

Of course he was no longer President, but he gave the ban his support which may or may not have helped get it passed.

Things like this are why being on the right is a pain in the ass sometimes lol. Reagan was no where near perfect and wasnt extremely 2nd friendly, yet he is looked upon by the boomer class as conservative god. Alot of republicans are chit
Compared to Carter he WAS God, and he did a lot of great things.

Bottom line is that we never get a perfect president. We [hopefully] get the one that will do the least damage, and if we're lucky we get one who fixes the shit that the left has fucked up.

Someone once said that perfection is the enemy of good. I think there's something to that.

What did you think about some of his cabinet picks?
Some of them turned against him.

Wtf?

All of Bidens are [bleep].

Yes, but they are loyal to Biden and the Democrats, unlike just about everyone in Trump’s cabinet including his VP.

Sheesh
Everyone?

This list is too long to list them all, it’s much easier and shorter to list those that were loyal.

Yes, that Reagan. Something had to be done to stop inflation which was 10% a year in the Carter term, 8% a year during Ford's tenure, and almost 6% during the Nixon years.

Interest rates had to be raised or inflation would have continued to rise. Reagan got it down below 5%, and it has steadily gone down since then until the latest Bozo was unlawfully installed.

Didnt love them. Some were ok in the beginning, but turned on him. He has to be smarter on his pics this time around. I think he figured out how deep the deep state runs in washington. He doesnt have many friends, if any in that chithole

Reagan submitted seven out of eight balanced budgets to Congress. The only one in deficit was the first one to build our armed forces back up after the democrats practically destroyed it. Interest rates were high when he took office but where were they when he left?
VP pick doesn't matter. It's not going to change one vote.
