Now if you could post the same pic with LRP I'd be all over it.

Sounds like pretty good service.

I ordered 4k. Hopefully they’re better than the Aguilas I’m using up now for plinking purposes.

A quick scan through some of Powder Valley's posted reviews indicate light strikes, potentially a firmer cup than others...

A farm and ranch store has had some cci and federal for $59/1000. They had 400s and 450s and 500s and 550s in cci. They also had fed sml pistol and 205 small rifle. I bought a bunch at that price.

I haven't used fed 205s much I'm the past. What's the general consensus on those? I used to buy some gold medal ar primers but didn't use many 205s. I've typically been a cci guy. I thought about buying a bunch more fed 205s but I font like the larger cartons they come in. They take up too much space.

Did just that a couple of weeks ago. Great deal, if they work. Haven't tried them yet.

They are in the same class as Fiocchi, CCI or a few other "hard" primers. Especially if your shooting a revolver, it's best to bite the bullet and snag Federals, they are readily available all over online and at big box stores I suppose, with MIwall Corp still the cheapest at $69.00 per K.

Someone else said that, too, on another thread on this topic.

I hate hard primers. Over the summer, my local gun store started carrying some locally loaded cowboy loads of .38 Special for cheap (bulk packaged in plastic bags), and I bought a bunch of them. I started thinking there was something wrong with the two revolvers I was shooting them in. I figured the hammer springs on them must have weakened. Then I ran out of them and started using regular ammo again, and the problem disappeared. I would not be surprised if the small local outfit that loaded up those cowboy loads used these primers.

Gents:

First 100 of these all went bang in 9mm, about 60 striker-fired, and about 40 firing pin. I had read that maybe they needed to be seated a bit more deeply for consistent ignition. Welp, apparently my new press is seating them just fine.

100 for 100.

I use an RCBS bench primer seater tool

Catt's azz I would say

These primers just have a 'different feel' while being seated

Dunno........?

They go bang.....$50/brick/shipped

No haz mat labels from Fed Ex

Outta stock now
