20 days from now, I did the same thing 22 years ago.

I quit working when I was 57, the week obuma was elected.

I was 3 1/2 months old.

Back that date up to 18 Feb. '68 I left home to join the Army.

Then PH “A” school at Pensacola, then Cubi Pt for the balance of my enlistment.

a lot of people in this country did, probably not for same reasons as you though

March of 68 I just got promoted to top craft communication tech with .Americam Telephone and Telegraph, Rawlins, Wyoming, was a tough winter 68-69 in south central Wyoming.

It was 20 years ago today Sergeant Pepper taught the band to play.

59 Years go this month I finished ITR and ACT at Camp Lejeune,

I was on my way to Vietnam.

This must be meeting day for Geriatrics Anonymous. I was still 8 months away from my second tour of "that place". You fellas are just pups :):)

If 85 makes me a pup I do not know what old age is going to be like. Thanks for service cuz, missed that one , lucked out served 60-64 and the navy never called up from reserves.

In the Summer of 69, I was 6 years old.

It was Nov. 1981 for me, graduated on new years eve.

45 Years for me, 6/12/1978.

I went to Great Lakes to son’s graduation from boot camp.

At this time in 1968 I had been discharged from the Navy and was working at Electric Boat in Groton Ct. got married to my wife in July.
Been a great ride. 😎

This is where I come to feel young! LOL
