He has a fight this summer with Jake Paul, an upcoming young guy with some good potential at 9-1. Tyson's very good and he's very dangerous, but at 58? It's been 4 years since his last fight. Paul's only 27. I don't know how many rounds it's set for.
Years ago, when I was younger and even dumber than I is now, I told friends that I'd fight Ali for a million with my hands tied behind my back. Try my best to stay out of range, and when I got hit.....................why hell, I've had my bell rung for a lot less.
Paul has a much longer reach, solid jab, good right hand, and a big mouth.....Tyson will have a short night, will wake up and think he's in Japan again. Paul isn't a real boxer, he just pretends to be, he's a social media boytoy that shows off all his women and fancy cars.
Tyson has spent the last decade stoned. It’s not just age that will slow his reflexes. At damn near 60 going against a kid less than half his age who has speed, reach, and young muscles, I do t think it ends well. Unless he connects with one of those thunderous rights, I don’t think he wins. Stay retired champ and enjoy your MaryJane.
I don't think he's broke. He has a thriving weed business. At least I think it's thriving. This will get a ton of views. Seems like anything Mike does attracts attention. I grew up watching him fight. Go Tyson!
Streaming on Netflix does this mean any of us can watch it then? When I was younger I boxed and the son of the gym owner was up at Cus Damatos place in 84 or 85 when Tyson was near g the time when he turned pro and told me once Tyson was a truly terrifying boxer. I fully believed him too.

It will stream via pay per view.
EDIT: It will be free to all subscribers, the first Netflix sporting event

One of the reasons why Tyson won so often is that his opponents were PETRIFIED of him even before the fight started. And they had every reason to be lol
If it's more than 6 or 8 rounds, Paul only needs to play defense and let Tyson wear himself out. At his age, he won't make any fast recoveries between rounds. That's how Ali used to do it, with his rope-a-dope. He'd let them punch themselves out then move in for the kill. And kill he did. I don't think I'd play rope-a-dope with Tyson, though. He hits too hard. Just stay out of the way and don't get hit.
Damn, I think my wife cancelled Netflix last month until new episodes of the shows she like come back.
I think Tyson might hurt the kid.
Tyson has his issues and age but I doubt there's anyone on the planet with his boxing knowledge, willing to get in the ring. Saw him talk a LONG time about the sport, the science and the history of not only boxing but warriors/combat. It was deep, thoughtful and intelligent.
He will likely show Paul things Paul's never seen, especially seen in a 57 year old dude. Not saying he'll win - just saying, of all the old guys to pick on, Paul chose the 1 guy that likely has the deepest mental rolodex of what it is to box.

Not a good way to go into a fight.
Scared schidtless. They'd be like, wait guys, I need to change my underwear!!!
You guys all think this will be a legit straight up fight?
I am making a WAG here and saying Mike is getting a serious payday to either let Paul win or go easy and take it to a decision.
Don't trust the Pauls one bit. And I don't think Tyson is above making a deal
No, it will be a straight up brawl,,,,,if you'd have watched the Paul/Fury fight you'd know the kid has heart, and fights to the end. He lost that fight, to a legit undefeated rising star in the sport.
I do think Tyson had an agreement with Roy Jones when they fought, not to break any ribs or hit Roy too hard lol....both legends though, that was in 2020

And begging for EXTRA VASOLIINE to be smeared on their faces lol
A sshole is broke....f ucked off his $$$$$$ so he's got this scam going to get more! Rocky Marciano would have knocked his ass out in the first round!!

His cannabis business is worth 10 million and growing, unlike you.
I've been trying to find out how many rounds it's scheduled for. While I've failed to find that, I've picked up a couple other things.
Netflix is steaming it to all of their subscribers, no extra cost. It's supposed to be a real sanctioned fight, not an exhibition like Tyson's last one. The rumors of 18oz gloves and headgear are false. They'll use standard 10 oz gloves and be bareheaded.

Do you remember the Spinks fight? I think he was looking for the soft spot to land when he crawled thru the ropes.
Tyson was an amazing fighter in his prime. Not the greatest boxer, but arguably the greatest fighter.
I have my doubts about how serious this fight will be
that said, while Joe Rogan believes Tyson will hold his own, Dana White has some concerns.
Dana is saying he wouldn't want Mike to do it, but its none of his business
D'Amato dying early in Tyson's career was the worst thing to happen to him. D'Amato said that women were going to be Tyson's downfall, he was right. Between Robin Givens and Desiree Washington, he didn't have a chance.
