Soggy/wet day here....good soaker

Rained all night.....turned to snow for 2-3 hrs......now all rain again

Closest Sno Tel station @ 9400' showing nearly 16" of SWE (snow/water/equivalent)

Last winter...Utah held nearly 30" of SWE statewide

Summer water looks good again.....

Reservoirs still holding 68% average from last year (Lake Powell not included)

Just wind down here in the ghetto, Tikka. They promised us half an inch of rain, so I put out my first fertilizer/preventative. Yeah, right. We got a whopping .20" And then the winds came. Shredded the tarp on my patio chairs but fortunately no power outage. Got more than a few gusts of near 50, including one an hour ago - a full 24 hours after they promised us the winds would decline.

No wind......you guys got slammed again with the wind

Still steady sleet now

Wettest storm all winter here now

Mountains doing real well
What a strange year here in the Siskiyous, the snow levels have been going up and down like a whore's drawers, snow down to 3000 ft numerous times, immediately followed by warm rains to 8000 ft...rivers bank to bank. In Jan, one storm, the barometer dropped to 28.84...never seen it that low. I think it will turn out to be a warm winter for the record books. Shasta dam opened it's top spillways 3 weeks ago, unheard of for this time of the year. Local deer and elk look fat and sassy like it was the 4th of July.
Local wintering deer/elk doing fine here too

They drop down off this 1000' face to hay fields below

Then back to the upper terraces to bed down daily
